ever notice how in Zandalar all the generic treasure chests are “treasure chest” but in Kul Tiras they’re “small treasure chest”? I have. many times. I’ve come up with various theories
Horde bias!!!
Alliance bias!!!
Neutral bias???
New troll bias…
Zandalar is a more prosperous region
Kul Tirans don’t dump as much stuff in chests littered randomly around
Kul Tirans dump just as much stuff in weird places but use smaller containers
Gnomish Shrink Ray backfired and shrank every single treasure chest in Kul Tiras. it’s engineering, it could happen!
Blizzard made Zandalar first and had a lower budget for Kul Tiras
Blizzard made Kul Tiras first and had leftover treasure to dump in Zandalar
Blizzard responded to the demands of the Campaign For Realistically Proportioned Women by making smaller (treasure) chests
Dorian Atwater used so much wood in shipbuilding that treasure chests had to be made small
Trolls like to overcompensate by making large treasure chests
The treasure chests had to be downsized due to layoffs
The treasure chests had to be downsized so we could have a raid tier
The treasure chests had to be downsized because of class balance
The treasure chests had to be downsized because of mental unbalance
The treasure chests are actually the same size and the description is a plot of the Old Gods to confuse us
Zandalar is a land filled with riches and ancient ruins. Dazar’alor is basically made out of gold and the crimerate is low since their criminals are exiled into a desert.
Kul Tiras has a major piracy problem. Boralus has a very high crimerate since it’s filled with thugs, outlaws and guards taking bribes around every corner. Also Kul Tirans are more industrial than the Zandalari. It makes sense.
