So Horde Bias rising again!

I think factions are a necessity. Imagine having a single country world, it would be boring and exceedingly problematic.

You complain about every thread so I don’t think your point view is accurate :smile_cat:

I am up for single country world with no borders. Borders gives more problems tbh.

That literally wasn’t a thread complaint, though?

Who are you even? Sounds like you have some confirmation bias buddy.

Is this a trolling attempt or your real thoughts because it feels like you don’t consider details related that idea, at all :smile_cat:

Sorry for my bad engrish then, I no speak good engrish hence I can’t understood sometimes :crying_cat_face: Chill dude :smile_cat:

I am serious. If that happens to IRL - that would eliminate lots of problems.

The orcs had it comming after they killed her sister samara i’d done the same to them and given the chance i’d join her crusade aswell.

I want to fight enemies of Azeroth while standing next to a Blood Elf and a Nightborne. But according to Ion that’s too much to ask because “fAcTiOnS aRe A cOrE pArT oF tHe GaMe”. You know, despite BfA being about ending the cycle of hatred.

eyeroll

I agree with you, a world with no borders would eliminate lots of problems and instead would create a lot more problems.

There were lots of things which were core part of the game- if we tell them to players who joined during BFA they just laughed about it.

Blizzard decided to remove it as time passed on. And this so called faction will also recive some twists and turns.

I like the factions, but if we take rl examples, many countries have in the past been at war and when the war ends, peace usually follows. Trades open up, visits to other countries (tourism). Why can’t the factions stay but have cross faction play? So when you queue for a dungeon you can get both alliance or horde players to group with. To me this is a compromise that would allow those that love to play Alliance can still stay Alliance and those that love to play Horde can remain Horde, no choice has to be made. Would this not also go some way to resolve the imbalance?

At least this sounds somehow reasonable because some people want directly removal of factions.

In any case crossfaction play won’t happen, just like how High Elf race won’t get added to the game. These are 2 facts that people need to accept. It is extremely naive to believe that Blizzard will give up on faction transfer money. They already sacrificed leveling boost money by making leveling easier.

I have no evidence to show, but I believe they have lost a hell of a lot of money with BfA and the endless grind that people complain about. If we didn’t have the pandemic keeping a lot of people at home with lots more time to fill, I wonder if so many would still be playing? The levelling boost was not only to help people ‘stuck at home’ to give them something to do, but also to keep them subbed/paying. But this is just me guessing rather than knowing. I agree it all comes down to money and faction transfers are lucrative for them, but if the current trend remains, would the transfer fees outweigh what they will lose in subs from people who just leave, as the faction they want to play is now unplayable?

It is controversial and uncertain but companies generally go for the most greedy strategies-options based on our past experiences.

Let’s take a look at Blizzard now, they say “subscriber count” which means indirectly player count is not as important as it used to be, we have new ways of making money. You know what these are right, ingame services, whether it is faction changes or shopmounts. They also say we are okay with people coming back for a patch then leaving for a while. So they don’t have an intention like keeping players ingame for a year since they have alternatives like “faction change money”.

They seem satisfied by direction they took or at least trying to look like things are okay like this, perhaps a PR attempt “even though we have a lot fewer players we don’t care we get the money by using different strategies”. So all these makes me think that they don’t agree with you.

If they take a U-turn it is possible though.

mechagnome racials are better than vulpera and blizzard has been kissing alliance a** all expantion

They have to, to make it short and without a longer explanation.

They are kissing the wrong side
