I simply started it on alt to check if Quest actually pointed you to the old portal.

Tangent but Iām gonna put it here because I had no idea about it
In The War Within thereās an elevator near Freywold Village that takes you down to the Ringing Deeps, but thereās also another elevator that takes you down there east of Rambleshire.
I didnāt know either of those existed until after the expansion was over. I spent so much time flying down the Coreway

Although I did always hearthstone back. So they were one way trips.

I hadnāt seen any portal until this last week, I took the flight path there every week.
Useless finding them now.
Maybe you havenāt realized it yet, but just like in real-life, the actions of people in a multiplayer game can and will affect the experience of others.
To give a longterm example:
- Driving cars didnāt exist back in the day
- Then cars became available
- More and more people started using it
- Society adapted and expects people now to have a driver license just to apply to most jobs
- Everyone without one (yet) is automatically put at a disadvantage
Want to have the same example in context of WoW? Sure!
- Zereth Mortis in Shadowlands comes out
- Rares are very spread around the zone, some even on hills exclusively
- People need to unlock Pathfinder achievement to reach some of the rares
- Many people unlock flying that way and start using flying-only to get ASAP to the rares
- People like me who had neither an idea how to unlock flying nor did want to are automatically at a disadvantage
When Shadowlands S3 was the current thing, it was so bad that people like me literally quit doing the zone altogether for rares. Comparing that to Korthia, where flying was due to the Maw not allowed, I had A TON OF FUN!
Already back then it was an issue. And while Dragonflight and onward the world is designed with flying being available right from the start to counter that problem, it created an entire new one.
An even further destroyed sense of character progression. Unlocking flying used to be some real achievement. Now itās basic transportation.
And this is where I circle back to the Portal that was added for the Omnium Folio. Itās nothing else than ābasic transportationā. With the only difference it is even less interacting with the game world than before.
You know that the idea of MMORPGs is that people share a world? Well, idk about you but outside of Silvermoon and Stormwind, I rarely see other players in the open worldā¦ On a RP realmā¦ Where Phasing basically is always off.
Why? Because they are all FLYING or using PORTALS to get to their dungeons, raids, delves and what not.
You may see it as a choice. But I see it as a form of freedom that invites segregation.

Laziness of nowadays players. Thatās the point. 600% flying is not enough I guess.
It is my concern,and i can complain about it anytime i want.At this point,id rather see wow die than see blizzard turn MMORPG into instanced lobby game.
Yeah, I done it for the first questā¦I just didnāt go back there to check if it was there afterwards.

It has seen so much use from me since then. 
Handy when going to eg. Magisters Terrace -dungeon without using M+ teleport.
I want ground mount speeds to be like that doing the housing postal quest.
Love the place,just needs more quests.
