So the promised Blizzard news today... is not news at all! Shame on Blizz!

The published roadmap is extremely disappointing.

Phase 4 spring, Phase 5 summer… come on, this is what we already knew.

What’s the future of MOP? Will there be WOD Classic? Will it stay at MOP Era forever?

Sorry… the information presented is not enough for me to continue investing in this version of the game. So I’ll probably stick to retail or maybe BC, because I don’t want to invest my time in a game that may have no future.

And I presume that many players will think the same, so Blizzard can say there’s no interest at all…

Shame on Blizz. Shame. Shame!!! All they needed to do was to provide us with some REAL news.

I always have to keep in mind that Blizzard will always disappoint us, and yet here I am… disappointed again.

I feel scammed to be honest they hyped it for days only to basicly tell us what is going to be in expansion thats comming in a few days anyway. Hardly a news buletin. You are litteraly mocking people who continue to play classic. Not only that you rewind old content and you cant even offer that without any bugs so many years later. Wole thing was 30 minutes advertisment of Housing and Midnight. Nice way to threat your customers !

They showed timelines until the end of year. MoP seems to be the end of classic at first glance since there’s nothing after Blizzcon for it.

People who are in those roles in blizzard should be sacked and they should be replaced wih someone who has the idea what they are doing the creativity will reach the bottom soon!

Well… their X (Twitter) feed is, unsurprisingly, full of angry comments.

Where’s the news?

On the other side, we got a cheesy video about housing.

Great - no news about Classic+ or WOD Classic, but more AI slop for sure.

I am surprised Blizz said anything about MoP at all.

Right now they completely abandoned the ship and didn’t do any bug fixes for 2 months now. ToT still has some of the same bugs that were already reported on PTR and that made progress quitting MoP alltogether.

Now we got zero news regarding the future of MoP.

Just feels sad that we have a great expansion in MoP and Blizz is driving it into a wall by doing.. nothing.

Msg was clear if you want content buy Midnight and moove to retail - if you were hoping for any news regarding classic and new content you are out of luck

Implement Pandaria PvP architecture with Racial talents resetable via an Item.

Traffic going through the Roof.

It definitely seems like they want to unite the classic audiences into something being announced at blizzcon that releases in 2027 because they’re racing through TBC abnormally fast.

That “something” might be Wrath anniversary or something different but it’s looking likely WoD isn’t on the cards. If it was then they’re very foolish to allow the MoP playerbase to dwindle away in the coming months because players think the game has no future.

So disappointed in this company. They didn’t announce anything on Classic Plus or Classic progressive future, only Siege of Orgrimmar Phase in summer and nothing else in autumn or winter…They just want to milk the remaining playerbase until the very end, but if we don’t know the future, most people will basically quit…They are abandoning Classic

I have a great will to grind the dailies which I missed to do back in 2012. But now it turns out that it will be another missed opportunity for me. I worked on Loremaster (OK, got this on retail too) and What a long, strange trip it has been - and looks like it’s over. I wanted badly to do Golden Lotus and some mounts - but it appears that it would be a waste of time. Nobody wants to invest game time in a dead game.

Blizzard may shut MOP down eventually due to “lack of interest”, but the real reason is that they abandoned the ship. I’d gladly play MOP and WOD. But I need to see commitment.
