Curious how much time MC will take now with increased HP on everything. And two - what about DM farming? :smiley: Pala nerfed, mage nerfed, hunter and druid/rogue not nerfed? :smiley:

Spent the last two weeks lvling chars on Beta. Now I get a free 60 on Thursday. Wow, gg. What a waste of time.

  • Significantly less experience is now awarded to players who kill a creature while in a group with one or more players who are at a much higher level than the creature that was slain.

That’s litterally the only good part of the patch regarding boost.
It’s not even really a boost nerf, it’s just a mage nerf.

Palaboosting still here,

Solofarming multiple dungeons, with many being easily exploited/botted since classic released by MANY other classes still unadressed.

So for the sake of ‘’ preventing ‘’ ( which it doesnt) boosting, they just removed half the fun of mages, as well as a way for players to compete with bots, money-wise, and being able to afford their lategame consumes, which will be even more needed than before.

What about out-of-bounds bots? What about DM/Strat/SM solo/duofarms? What about sologathering from hlvl characters in lower level instances?

Either you JUST put a xp decay as you did, Either you kill ALL abusing solofarms,
Blizz can’t just be half assed and basically just deny mages their main ‘‘legit’’ gold source without dealing with other classes’ farm that , for many, aren’t ‘‘small farms’’

And if they do, they need to fix the bot problem, or people will have to buy gold to get their 50g shadow res potions in order to have a chance at no-WB naxx

It’s to test their game obviously but given that we’re not paid to do it you’d expect Blizzard to treat us with a little more respect.
The first couple weeks we had literally no idea what we were supposed to be testing, zero communication from Blizzard.
It’s clear now why they did that. If we had known from the get go that 60 templates were arriving so soon I don’t think many people would’ve bothered leveling.
So they manipulated us and lied by omission. That’s pretty damn low although not surprising at all coming from a trash company like neo Blizz.

They told us quite clearly in a blue post when the Beta launched that they wanted to test the flow and speed of levelling with the XP increase. To quote them directly:

Our focus for testing this week is leveling speed and flow

There was no disrespect, lack of communication, manipulation or omission of what they wanted us to test.
