I would say 50% of the time, I am unable to loot a dead body. This issue has only been occurring recently. I thought it may be a problem on my end but my game seems to run fine elsewhere. Maybe it is me or maybe not. Any else had this problem?
Have you tried resetting your interface? Removing addons, clearing cache, etc?

What do you mean by “unable to loot a dead body”? Does it glow as if there was loot or is it just not clickable?
Not every enemy drops something. You’ll often encounter enemies that have no loot and are not clickable.
Or it might be due to looting another corpse nearby. If you loot one corpse in retail wow you’ll loot all the surrounding corpse in an area aswell. The loot of all corpse is then put into a single loot window.

Sorry I didn’t state this but I also meant I sometimes can’t loot bosses. I cleared my cache and the problem hasn’t occurred since.
