Stutter Freezing (WoW Classic)

Tried googling and can’t find anything quite the same, the issues only started in the last week or 2. It tends to occur primarily in Molten Core, but sometimes during occasions where alot is happening.

The game will randomly freeze for about 5-10 seconds, then unfreeze and repeat the process, freezing about 5-6 times. It’s incredibly annoying and I’m unsure why it’s happening.

Only the WoW client freezes, I can still operate other applications that are open.

Certainly odd that the issue is only happening in World of Warcraft. That does suggest though that the issue is related to a game file not working quite right so I recommend you try to reset your UI.

If this does not work, we’ll need to check out your system files for more troubleshooting. Once you generate the files, copy them over into something like Pastebin and provide the link to that in your response using the </> button.
