Maybe i’m the minority. It’s wild that your entire guild has 500-1k gold on all your characters. Literally 40-80k if all of you are doing it.
I wasn’t fast enough to abuse Incursions to make 1000s of gold so maybe thats why I am struggling. I’m fine doing a long grindy quest but i’m not fine spending 10 + hours of grinding to do a grindy quest. It’s not fun and won’t be worth the reward. There’s probably a lot of players like me right now who aren’t saying or posting because they never came back. Just thought this would be a good catchup mechanic and alt mechanic to encourage people to come back and play.
If you are on the fence coming back to SoD, getting this set and probably knowing you won’t be invited to groups without it is enough of a reason not to come back. This is my concern.
I understand that all 10 of yous have a insane amount of gold and time to invest and you guys are not struggling and enjoying it but i’m telling you there’s a lot more people like me that is being pushed out of this game for decisions like this.
I wonder how many of you abused Incursion or could tell me where you got so much gold?
500g is like 5h to max 10 hours of work.
And not 100 hours.
Fel cloth farm. Herbs farm for lotus. Mining, green items farm for enchanting mats…
If you are a “minmaxer” and want the full t0.5 then you will have no problem with that gold farm or are sitting on a pile of gold anyway.
And otherwise just ignore the t0.5 farm. It is not a “everyone MUST have this set completed” scenario
well… i really enjoyed the t05 stuff. a lot of ppl were doing it with me. got to meet some funny dudes while going after all that stuff.
also, the t0 for shaman tank is crap. t05 is pretty decent and i had the gold to spend also, on top of that, i really do not enjoy raiding not at all acutally. i will just be running some dungones in full t05 helping some ppl along the way.
pvp used to be my top thing to do, but i lost interest after all these years.
so i am just gonna be your on demand dungeon tank.
Leaving the antiquated quests aside(esp. with the server pop we have nowadays) the set is really useful in case you want to gear all your specializations at once. I never rolled for tank or dps gear, once done with this quest I can equip all my specializations.
By the time gear from MC will start to going to OS roll I will have my OS already well equipped.
