The tree has a big impact on doing visions IMO. You want to get into Elite Extermination and Gift of the Titans ASAP. After that everything becomes so much easier.

Was it a bug or oversight that the quest between rank 8 and 9 still require 4 torn pages? Me and a friend have our quests at 2/4 and can’t turn it in yet.

They said you can level up cloak be completing 1 vision. Completing = finish all 4 areas and main boss. This will get you 4 q items = rank up. Also lot of tooltips are not updated becouse it always updates after server reset during maintanace.
No you cant rank up.cloak just by killing Thrall. You have to manage clear all areas + boss to get 1 rank per vision.
It’s good that corruptions are becoming consistent to use, this was a major drawback I think, the luck required currently is pretty effective at gating many people from playing with corrupts, now we can work towards them it’s going to bring some really unique builds I look forward to seeing for the remainder of bfa.

Nothing says this is the case but I always wondered what was going on with this quest and I’m willing to bet corrupts and vendors idea was conceived very early days just implemented much later for whatever reason.
9 weeks to catch up at the moment? And my alts dont even have rank 15 cloak yet so it’s even worse than that. So I guess i’ll reach “impossible to reach BIS” after the expansion is over…yea i feel so excited to play my alts!!!
You dont need to kill the final boss to upgrade your cloak.
Areas that drop pages are good enough. Be that 2x side areas or all 4. But Thrall or Alleria isnt required at all to upgrade your cloak or be able to loot pages.
You get a nice amount of Echoes if you do kill Thrall aswell tho, but thats a different story.
And the biggest issue with upgrading your cloak to 9 / 10 or 11, is the fact that at that level, your research and your cloak sanity drain reduction arent really that high yet and you are scrambling to clear all 4 areas in 1 run.
Is this bad? or a big issue not at all, but it takes upgrading the cloak (even when rank 12 - 15 are only 2 pages) to a few more clears which is kinda silly imo, if you just introduced a catch up system for the final ranks.
What if you can’t clear all areas though? due to your class, etc? O.o
Any class can clear all areas on 0 masks.
Make all essences t3 purchasable
Make all corruptions purchasable not a small amount that rotates each few days
Reset all echoes to 0 to put everyone on even ground or make anew currently
Make heroics dungeons earn a small amount per run with a weekly cap (great catch up for new alts - like 5k per week)
Basically stop making your game longer to player but adding artificial difficultly and make it just fun to play. Why is that so hard for you to understand? I’ve seen interesting builds for the new corruption stacking for example for Ineffable Truth but can’t try it out because this corruption is not sold today. Who thought this was a good idea?

I had 0 echoes on this alt. And how can you possibly defend the having corruptions swap every few days.
Where did i defend it? Just telling you that you just missed the opportunity with some hours. That is all i did. But sorry, i suppose?

intended . because your neck above level 80 is usles - they just dont want to give free gold to people so it will grow infinetly untill end of expansion

You guys obviously don’t care, but just in case. This is a horrible catch up mechanism. People will still be way behind CR and the random corruption vendor is honestly one if not the worst decisions you guys EVER made

The expansion is over, get over yourself. This is the only expansion that doesn’t seem to have a gear reset at the end of it. Even TBC had honor pvp gear. For some reason, people think it would be best for the game if we just grind out the last gasping breaths of BFA and let the sub number get to the historic minimum just so they can enjoy their e-peen soem extra months.
But hey, guess they don’t like money. This “catch up system” is an insult and just goes to show the leadership of the game, with Ion as the decision maker, gives 0 Fks about the casual player base that represents about 90% of the total population.
