Tentacle slam not properly applying dots

Doesn’t apply dots to targets, seems to be when they’re moving from what I can tell, not sure how it works, don’t think I could recreate it, happens enough o be annoying, maybe 3% of the slams I use? I mean I used it on a boss in a dungeon and it didn’t apply dots, to the single target that it was cast on so.

If target has +speed (Sprint or anything like that) and they move then tentacle slam won’t apply VT which then won’t apply SW:P through talent (If you have it selected). Only thing that will be applied is the weak version of SW:Madness if you have it talented ofc.

It’s been like that for a while now :frowning:

Ye it have some wierd “travel time”. If mobs run around, or straight up teleport -like the mana wyrms in AA, it wont get vt nor sw:p..only madness if talented. In pvp this issue is increased by a billion.

It almost feels like shadow crash is still the same :poop: , but with fancy animation, you are no longer able to chopse between targeted area or your target, and more stuff attached to it via talents and apex talents. Other than that , los issues, travel time issues, cap issues, elevated terrain issues etc etc etc.. Ngl only redeeming quality that makes slam better than crash is the two charges. :man_shrugging:t3:

Seeing as they seemingly can’t fix the bug, the bandaid solution would be to half the CD for more tires to actually make it work + would help us on mass pulls

It’s so buggy. Happens nonstop. One of the most important spells are so useless. Not even worth having in the game. What a bad design and makes shadowpriest so bad.

Bug reported it at least 20 times. Been in the game since pre patch, completely unacceptable.
