you talk to the guy in portal room and he send you to dark portal. you end up in dark portal but the quest disspears. and cannot be taken again from chromie.
What quests do you have in your log now?
Are you doing this on the character Akarnum you are posting on?

Just to clarify, it’s the Draenor Garrison, not Outland. Outland is the remains of the Draenor in our universe, while Draenor is 30-ish years before in another universe (if that even makes any sense; when writers talk nonsense about alternate universes in books or comics or TV or films or games, I tune out.)

i couldnt even enter the dark portal.
Why? So I can look up your quest progress if I know the name and realm, and then look up the surrounding quests on Wowhead and the Bug Report Forum to see is anyone else has experienced the same, and what if anything can be done about it.
Since you didn’t specify any quest names, I wanted to find them.
Now you have added the tidbit of information that you didn’t even get into the Dark Portal, though from your first post, I would have assumed you did when you said “you end up in dark portal”. But you were never in the portal, because you now say you never entered. That actually narrows things down a lot, but it’s still not as specific as I would like.
Do you remember the name of the quest you took, and what quests do you have now? I am assuming the quest was Warlords of Draenor: The Dark Portal since you didn’t get through the portal, but I’d rather not assume. Did you go directly to Khadgar, or did you take some of the local Blasted Lands quests first?

then it said click on quest to complete it. and when i did it went away and nothing came up. couldnt enter the portal behind me either.

It’s for Horde, but since Istill don’tknow your name, realm, level, faction, it’s what I can do. It’s the same for Alliance anyway, except the quest is picked up in Stormwind for them instead.
Notice that this is not a “Click Here To Complete” quest. Instead, you talk to Khadgar, watch a cutscene, and then hand it into him on thefar side of the portal.
I’m getting an idea. May be off. But, despite you talking about Garrison, maybe you actually took the quest Burning Crusade: To Outland!
There are no Garrisons in Outland, but if you took the Outland quest and your character was above the Blasted Lands level, you might have landed in Blasted Lands but in the Draenor Phase.
This is the To Outland! quest
IF THIS IS THE CASE, then if you go with your character up the road to the North-West of the Blasted Lands, wher the road meets Swamp of Sorrows, you will meet Zidormi on the side ofthe road. Her place is marked by a speech balloon on the map.
Talk to Zidormi. She should offer to show you the Blasted Lands or Dark Portal as it was before. Then the zone should change phase, and you should be able to proceed.
Or alternatively, ask the pprtal mage in Stormwind or Orgrimmar again. Or try the portal to Shattrath City in the Portal Room in either Stormwind or Orgrimmar and make your way to that side ofthe Dark Portal.
