The problem of Rank 1 spots and alts

Now I know that this is perhaps a problem for only around a few hundred players in total throughout the whole entirety of WoW although it seems like a big one that is worth talking about

If you’ve figured it out, got the partners AND OR the skills making you able to push to a rank 1 title eligible position on the ladder whether it be in 3v3 or in solo shuffle, don’t you think it’s unfair for other people that are also trying that you can just make an alt and “easily” get to the same kind of rating as your main (same class) then make somebody miss out on their title?

when you have a couple dozen people doing this with a handful of alts each, it seems really unfair that perhaps 30+ people with a couple alts each can take 90? positions for other human beings to be eligible for a rank 1 title

I think one person should be eligible for only one rank 1 title each per unique class

I think players alts shouldn’t take up a position on the ladder for rank 1 positions

even go a step further, if you see streamers in particular who do this but with multiple separate accounts, limit them to only 1 position each person despite having multiple accounts
During the downtime between ending the season and beginning a new one, add this to the investigations done before awarding the titles

They should make it like you get r1 ehen 1 char is in that spot for example ypu have a warrior on r1 and 2 alt warrs that highest counts but the other 2 get it aswell but they do not count as spot like for example ypu have place 10 ladder 11 and 12 your acc count as ok hes #10 but gets r1 on 11 and 12 aswell but doesnt take 3 spots away.

sad, very few activity or views on the thread
big problem for so few people, the majority doesn’t care as it’ll never apply to them

in-turn nobody higher up will ever bother to see it, implying they do to anything at all

thats the problem, even tho it is a actual problem how the ranks are handled

even if i will never be r1 myself i can see its troublematic that 1 guy holds multiple place r1 per se and that r1 can make ppl stop playing on glad cause they know theres no reason to continue

if u want to bring awareness to the problem id post it on US forum as well.
its more relevant and has more activity.

R1 should be classwide and 1 person should only be able to take multiple r1 slots with different classes imo.

I mean nowdays no 1 will get Gladiator cause there only 300 ppl above 2.4 if they dont fix anything soon

Idk why ranks arent % based when theyre so tied on participation at every ladder, would make most sense

Smart solution, or we could just make r1 class wide ? 1 spot per class

I agree! They should also make sure to remove R1 from anyone that has gotten it in the past without deserving it. This includes all forms of cheating / win-trading etcetera.
