the quest “veteran equipment” says that i have to “acquire a veteran track item” i have now collected 3, and i still havnt got the “complete” for it

Same here. Two vet items. I did get credit for upgrading one item, but the quest remains uncompleted, because I didn’t get the ‘get veteran track item‘ credit. And what is a veteran ‘track‘ item anyway? I got a ring, and feet. Are both not track items? All very unclear.
Way to get a workaround is to drop the quest once you get the piece, once you take the quest again it will show that you gathered a veteran piece and now you will upgrade it like normal and quest completes and moves onto the next quest in the series. If you upgraded, it from original quest you will have to upgrade it again to complete the quest once you abandon and restart the quest.
