This isn’t an airport you don’t need to announce your departure. Honestly if you really need LFR then you aren’t a big loss to the raiding scene.
Just learn how to play the game then you will be able to get your cloak and won’t get kick.
So, Blizzard wants players to re-live MoP expansion experience, but without essential feature that LFR is. I’m on low population realm and can’t find a guild to raid with, not to say pug groups, because they a specific to populated realms. No raiding for me this expansion. How great, what a wonderful idea. ! :(((
Oh, btw, killing Garrosh is one of better is not the best WoW experiences ever and I have done it with a guild. But those who did not… its really cruel for them (Blizzard) to not give people this opportunity.
[edit]
At least give story mode (for those who never had opportunity and for the nostalgia freaks).
Both is exactly what we’re asking for. I don’t like forced content, I understand the annoyance of LFR, if you’re simply trying to gear an alt, and players constantly fail.
Options are exactly what we need, and the Celestrial dungeons will be an easy way for gearing an alt.
I plan on doing Celestrial’s as well, but I’m sad we don’t get LFR.
I can’t see the issue with adding LFR. As long as players have alternatives, they won’t be forced to do LFR.
Who knows, maybe you’re all right, and it’s a horrible experience, and there definitely will be such runs. I’ve queued many regular heoric dungeons with people who have absolutely no idea what they should do… And we’ll see the same in Celestrial dungeons, depending on how hard they make them.
im not being funny if you wanted to run these raids just to see them for their story you could go on retail and solo them. LFR is a horrible experience. 30 mins to get into a group as a dps and thats for only 2 to 3 bosses in the raid. so if you want a full raid clear as a dps you need to spend 1 and half hours just waiting… i would agree to keep it in the game if it was a new experience but its not. no one plays this game for the original experience as its never going to be the same even if you left everything the way it was as the player base has changed and you already know all the content so how will it be the same?
Me2
HC+ isnt bad. But I dont want that instead of the raidfinder…
I will play Challenge Mode for the whole time, Like I did back in the good old Times.
I dont want to play HC+ to get my legendary items or to get some gear… I want to play brainafk in LFR… Because Challenge Mode would be stressful enough.
And I am not ironic when I write this. I am a very good player. I played in boost squads and my goal was to achive the best server times.
But I Like LFR as well. Being good doesnt mean you dont play easy freeloot content.
Everyone who complains and thinks it would be good if this content was gone because its useless and way too easy anyway… Is a bad player in my opinion.
First reach my level before you deny other players the content !!
Then don’t do it, what’s the problem? I just cant see it.
Celestrial dungeons are a great addition, it solves all the need to do LFR if you don’t care about it.
This is such a dumb and ignorant thing to say, especially considering MoP originally had LFR! I’m playing classic, I’m not playing retail! There’s absolutely no reason to mention retail in this scenario.
If I was asking for a retail feature, then sure! Tell me to go play retail then, but I’m not!
I’m simply asking them to keep LFR in the game as it originally was, and I’m perfectly okay with them adding Celestrial dungeons (a retail-ish feature!) as well, so LFR isn’t forced on raiders.
But hey, I can say the same to you… Anyone who wants H+, go play retail, this wasn’t originally part of MoP!
Speak for yourself! I left before Cata because of college, so Cataclysm Classic was my first time playing Cataclysm, it’ll be the same with MoP.
But I guess I’m not a worthy player, I’m not a pro-community-player-who-knows-it-all, so I don’t matter at all. I get it… WoW Classic is for the sweats, and only the sweats.
You don’t know me or my playstyle.
First of all, im not an AFK’er waiting passively for gear. if I did, then i’d go to retail instead.
Im a casual player, since i done every exspansion, but i did’nt get the cloak in OG mop, so i want the oppotunity to do it this time.
Secondly, before ppl says “learn to play the game” remember that the gameplay is not like diablo, where you have to do this, that and the other before you can progress the story. But all the min-max, sweatlords and speedrunners are the ones that gatekeep us from the gameplay.
one more thing… All of the no-sayers are also the ones, who said that if rdf came, ppl would afk in major citys and not go out in the open world ??
you know the same thing they were doing as soon as they hit max lvl, even in classic wow, tbc, wrath and now cata
Same here! Was looking so forward to MoP to raid casually on my toons, now im not gonna bother play it at all. I have no interest in joining any pugs to be shouted at by toxic elitist sweats hardressing all items for themself and i have no time or energy to create my own groups. Guess they dont want people like me to play classic wow anymore and thats fine I guess im gonna find something else to play.
The heroic+ dungeons is going to be a supertoxic votekicking fest anyway if cataclysm is anything to go by and im not gonna let myself suffer thorough that! Big L blizz!
Dude you’re on PWV.
Pugs are running whole week, from previous tiers to achievement runs, from zero gatekeeping pugs (not the highest quality granted) to “pugs in name only” and everything in between.
You have not a single log from T11 to T13, not even Baradin Hold … is BH too much of a commitment?
Just say you have no interest in raiding (perfectly acceptable) and move on, spare the grandstanding.
LFR should’ve never happened. Good riddance.
I don’t have a single log in Cataclysm because I haven’t played Cataclysm but I have logged in randomly over the past few months and the situation is as I have described. The pugs you call are from 10 spammed in chat for achievements there are no groups in LFG.
If you look at the data from ironforge raiding users are under 3k characters. It doesn’t look healthy to me
You clearly don’t know what you are talking about. Pyrewood has plenty of groups going stop being a clown.
LFG was the best thing that happened to WoW imo. Having to deal with people and organise is a headache and waste of time. If that’s what you want, you can keep doing it, or find a guild, or play Vanilla, or get a job in the office. Just do not force it down people’s throats. I play videogames to escape reality, not face its worst aspects.
The less artificial obstacles, the better
What I don’t understand is why ppl are saying no to it being ingame.
I mean, if you don’t want to use it, just form your own grps, and stop crying about it.
in both TBC and wrath it was GDKP that ruined both the game and the ingame economonly, and blizz did ban a few 1000’s bots, but did’nt make it illegal, but it did not affect my gameplay.
I’ll tell all you no-sayers. if you really don’t want raid finder so badly, how about we stop GDKP at the same time? Make it fair for all players. no raid-finder and no way to use gold or money to buy yourself some raid gear. deal?
Yeah… Many people feel the same as OP. Blizzard doesn’t seem to care for non-streamers.
Hopefully you guys can still enjoy the 85-90 experience which is one of the best the WoW ever had.
Maybe blizzard try to turn classic wow into MMO RPG again
There is nothing classic about Pandaria, and LFR doesn’t make it less of an MMO.
Vanilla andies at some point just convinced themselves that MMO RPG means social interaction simulator. No, MMO simply means there are hundreds of players in the world at the same time, no more, no less.
Was looking forward to MoP classic more than any other expansion, levelled at least one of every class to 85 ready for it, and then Blizzard decided lets remove a feature of original MoP and add in a feature of retail to replace it.
I had no problem with them adding a retail feature in HC+ dungeons, for those who chose to do them, I could have chosen not to do them. The same way the “No LFR” crew could have chosen not to do LFR.
However in Blizzards ultimate wisdom they decided adding things from retail was not enough, they had to remove other things to force people to play the game the way they want now, or to quit.
Will I level a character to max and raid Normal/HC on that one as I have since Vanilla classic: Probably.
Will I resub at the end of my current subscription: Probably not.
I think when blizz loses alot of players and their money, they will add LFR as a backup plan, just as they did with RDF.
But I will play my Rogue up to 90 to see how they will adress the game later on. And if I don’t like it, then im off to private servers again, where they actully kick and ban cheaters
