    • The Silken Court
      • Stinging Swarm now releases only 4 Swarms (was 5), and having 4 stacks of Stinging Swarm now triggers Stinging Delirium on Mythic difficulty.
      • Stinging Swarm damage taken percent per stack increased to 25% (was 20%) on Mythic difficulty.
      • Decreased Shattershell Scarab melee damage by 15% on Mythic difficulty.
      • Increased number of stacks of Void Degeneration and Burning Touch that trigger Touch of Death to 5 (was 4) on Mythic difficulty.
      • Being damaged by Web Bombs no longer create Motes on Mythic difficulty.

      • Developers’ notes: The tuning updates done to the Deathbringer hero talent tree at the beginning of the patch have notably affected Blood’s output more than Frost. The damage effects of the keystone and the capstone talents are being increased to make Deathbringer a more competitive choice again.
      • Deathbringer: Reaper’s Mark initial and stacking damage increased by 25%.
      • Deathbringer: Exterminate damage increased by 25%.
      • Deathbringer: Wave of Souls damage increased by 25%.
    • Frost
      • Developers’ notes: We are looking to increase Frost’s single-target damage while bringing down their AoE damage to help create a healthier damage profile.
      • Obliterate damage increased by 12%.
      • Frost Strike damage increased by 12%.
      • Breath of Sindragosa damage reduced by 10%.

    • Feral
      • Rip, Rake, and Rampant Ferocity damage increased by 10%. Does not apply to PvP combat.
      • Apex Predator’s chance to trigger against multiple targets increased slightly.
      • Druid of the Claw: Strike for the Heart increases the critical strike chance and damage of Shred, Swipe, and Mangle by 15% (was 10%).

      • Druid of the Claw: Strike for the Heart increases the critical strike chance and damage of Shred, Swipe, and Mangle by 15% (was 10%).
    • Restoration
      • Swiftmend healing increased by 25%.
  • Hunter
    • Survival
      • Developers’ notes: Survival has found a lot of success with its 11.0.5 update to Merciless Blow in concert with Pack Leader’s bleed synergies. We’re adjusting it slightly to ensure the build is still competitive, but not quite as dominant.
      • Merciless Blow damage reduced by 15%. Does not apply to PvP combat.
      • Pack Leader: Vicious Hunt damage reduced by 20%. Does not apply to PvP combat.
  • Mage
    • Developers’ notes: Frostfire is still underperforming for both Frost and Fire. We’re targeting buffs to Frostfire’s various procs and providing a more substantial throughput buff via Fire Mastery’s Haste value.
    • Fire
      • Developers’ notes: Fire has been underperforming in single target and could use some help. Rather than distribute this bonus through a myriad of spells, we’re opting to put most of our budget into Pyroblast to ensure this spell is keeping pace with the rest of Fire’s kit.
      • Frostfire: Fire Mastery now grants 2% Haste (was 1%).
      • Frostfire: Isothermic Core Comet Storm effectiveness increased to 200% (was 150%).
      • Frostfire: Frostfire Burst damage increased by 25%.
      • Frostfire: Frostfire Infusion damage increased by 50%.
      • Frostfire: Excess Frost cooldown reduction increased to 10 seconds (was 5 seconds).
      • Ashen Feather Phoenix Flames damage bonus increased to 50% (was 25%).

      • Developers’ notes: We’re looking to increase Windwalker’s overall performance in AoE and single target through targeted adjustments to a few baseline spells, as well as to push some underrepresented talents for increased build diversity.

      • Conduit of the Celestials: Courage of the White Tiger damage increased by 35%.
  • Paladin
    • Protection
      • Lightsmith: Divine Inspiration’s chance to proc an Armament decreased by 50% for Protection specialization.
      • Lightsmith: Divine Guidance damage reduced by 20% for Protection specialization.
      • Lightsmith: Forge’s Reckoning damage reduced by 15% for Protection specialization.
      • Refining Fire damage reduced by 10%.
  • Priest
    • Holy
      • Holy Word: Serenity healing increased by 25%.
      • Holy Word: Sanctify healing increased by 25%.
  • Rogue
    • Developers’ notes: Deathstalker as a hero talent choice has been underserving Subtlety compared to the alternative choice of Trickster, especially in AoE circumstances. Black Powder is used far more frequently as Deathstalker than as Trickster and is receiving a sizable damage increase. Additionally, Deathstalker’s Plague damage effects are being increased (for Subtlety only) to better align the overall contribution of each hero talent choice.

      • Farseer: Chain Lightning damage from Ancestors increased by 30%.

      • Farseer: Routine Communication now has an 8% chance to trigger (was 5%).
      • Farseer: Maelstrom Supremacy now increases the damage Earth Shock, Elemental, Blast, and Earthquake by 15% (was 8%).

      • Farseer: Chain Lightning damage from Ancestors increased by 30%.
      • Farseer: Lava Burst damage from Ancestors increased by 15%.
    • Enhancement
      • Developers’ notes: We’re reducing the power of Maelstrom Weapon spenders for Enhancement to lower their overall damage output.
      • All Maelstrom Weapon spender damage reduced by 8%. This does not affect PvP combat.
  • Warrior
    • Developers’ notes: Colossus Warriors are meant to be innately tough and hard to kill, so we’re increasing their overall resilience. This is particularly aimed at helping level the field between Mountain Thane and Colossus for Protection Warriors, more passive resistance for Colossus versus Mountain Thane’s more active mitigation playstyle.

      • Colossus: Mountain of Muscle and Scars now reduces damage taken by 5% (was 2.5%).
      • Colossus: Dominance of the Colossus now causes enemies damaged by Demolish to deal up to 10% less damage to you (was 5%).

      • Colossus: Mountain of Muscle and Scars now reduces damage taken by 5% (was 2.5%).
      • Colossus: Dominance of the Colossus now causes enemies damaged by Demolish to deal up to 10% less damage to you (was 5%).

      • Death Strike damage reduced by 35% in PvP combat.
    • Unholy
      • Festering Wound damage increased by 15% in PvP combat.
      • Festermight is now 65% effective in PvP combat (was 50%).

    • Developers’ notes: Havoc’s sustained damage outside of cooldowns has been notably low, so a few related skills are getting damage increases.

      • Developers’ notes: Marksmanship damage has been lower than we’d like in general, and in particular their effectiveness against casters has not been shining, so we’re putting more power into their physical based abilities.
      • Dark Ranger: Black Arrow damage increased by 12% in PvP combat.
      • Aimed Shot damage increased by 15% in PvP combat.
      • Rapid Fire damage increased by 15% in PvP combat.

      • Developers’ notes: We’re shifting Arcane’s damage profile a bit away from burst damage and into their consistent damage and increasing the effectiveness of Sunfury to increase hero talent diversity.
      • Sunfury: Spellfire Spheres grant 2% increased spell damage in PvP combat (was 1%).
      • Sunfury: Lingering Embers grant 2% increased spell damage in PvP combat (was 1%).
      • Sunfury: All Arcane Phoenix damage increased by 20% in PvP combat (Greater Pyroblast and Arcane Surge are not increased).
      • Arcanosphere damage increased by 40%.
      • Arcane Surge now increases damage by 20% in PvP combat (was 25%).
      • Arcane Missiles damage increased by 10% in PvP combat.

  • Made several adjustments and improvements to Guest Relations and Ratts' Revenge.
    • A curious brazier belonging to Zarhym was discovered in Ratts' lair.
    • Six additional pets are now considered secret pets.
    • Resetting the enigma machine now resets connected devices.
    • The Spirits of Collection are now more accepting.
    • Fixed an issue where a shadowy Spirit of Collection was not visible after satisfying all spirits.
    • Treasure of the Wardens can now be looted by any party member.
    • Faithful Dog is now considered a dog.
    • All-Seeing Eyes now count as a gift of the old gods.
    • All devices in Ratts' lair got a good kick. They had it coming.

  • Fixed an issue that prevented players who met the Battleground Blitz rating requirement from purchasing Forged Equipment Chest.

Timewalking

  • Weekly Timewalking quests now require level 30 to drop item rewards.
    • Developers’ notes: Players from level 10-29 are still able to engage with Timewalking, however, we do not want to incentivize creating a character for one run and then deleting the character.

WoW’s 20th Anniversary

  • Ratts’ Revenge
    • Fixed an issue where statues would follow you without a rope.
    • Fixed an issue where the “Hear” puzzle could be solved by an unintended bug. Characters who already received the reward for this puzzle will keep their progress, but other characters will need to figure out the intended solution.
    • Ratts’ password is now present.
    • The “Light of Love” is now more accepting.

  • Fixed an issue where honor earned in Deephaul Ravine was not giving quest credit for “Preserving in Battle”.

WoW’s 20th Anniversary

  • Historian Ma’di has packaged a few more Timewarped Badges into two new packages to facilitate trading for more Bronze Celebration Tokens.
  • Fixed phasing issues with “A Bird’s Tail” and “Battle Pet Bingo”.
  • The underwater gnomes have removed their elevator for repairs, indefinitely.

  • Fixed an issue with “Pirate Gastronomy” that caused all quantities of the required ingredients to be removed from your inventory. Now, only the quantities needed for the quest are removed, as expected.
  • Due to the horrors of repeated acts of violence at the Anniversary grounds, the Bronze Dragonflight organizers have made it a Sanctuary area. They kindly ask guests to take their conflicts outside the grounds.

  • Fixed an issue where “Disturbance Detected: Black Temple” could not be accepted if you were on or completed “Disturbance Detected: Blackrock Depths”.
  • Removed erroneous interactions with the Torch of Pyrreth.
  • Fixed an issue causing the Timewalking Dungeon Finder to require unreasonable item levels.
  • Fixed a bug where Ulduar Timewalking bosses were not always awarding their Timewarped Badges.

Transmogrification

  • Fixed an issue where all Concourse of the Forgotten Reservoir and Noetic of the Forgotten Reservoir appearances could not be transmogged in some circumstances.

World

  • Resolved an issue where players on a level 60+ character who entered Oribos could be trapped by Fatescribe Roh-Tahl.

  • Fixed an issue that was causing some players to not see the quest “An Original Path Through Time” after the weekly reset.

      • Developers’ notes: The goals of these changes are to increase single target damage and to even out the power of talents in Balance’s spec tree to provide as much build flexibility to players as possible. We want Power of Goldrinn to be an effective single target pick, and we’d like talents like Touch the Cosmos and Hail of Stars to be more competitive with other options.
      • Celestial Alignment and Incarnation: Chosen of Elune once again reset at the end of raid encounters.
      • Starfall damage increased by 6%.
      • Starsurge damage increased by 8%. Does not apply to PvP combat.
      • Starfire damage increased by 5%.
      • Wrath damage increased by 10%.
      • Shooting Stars and Crashing Stars damage increased by 20%.
      • Sunseeker Mushrooms grow 12% less often.
      • Touch the Cosmos chance to proc increased to 15% for Wrath and 22% for Starfire.
      • Power of Goldrinn’s damage increased by 25%. Does not apply to PvP combat.
      • Rattle the Stars increases Starfall and Starsurge damage by 8% (down from 10%).
      • New Moon and Half Moon damage reduced by 5%.
    • Restoration
      • Call of the Elder Druid’s duration increased to 15 seconds (was 10 seconds).
      • Dream of Cenarius now causes Wrath and Shred to transfer 100% (was 50%) of their damage done into healing and Starfire and Swipe to transfer 50% of their damage done into healing (was 33%).
      • Developers’ notes: We’re looking to increase the playability of Dream of Cenarius, as the window for Heart of the Wild is a bit too short to be meaningful and the upside of this talent has not yet been worth it.
  • Hunter
    • Beast Mastery
      • Developers’ notes: There were some niche situations where players might want to gain Trick Shots or Beast Cleave for more damage from Bleak Powder in single target. Bleak Powder is meant to complement AOE situations, not incentivize the usage of AOE in single target situations.
      • Dark Ranger: Bleak Powder no longer damages its primary target.
      • Pack Leader: Frenzied Tear proc chance reduced to 10% (was 20%).
      • Pack Leader: Vicious Hunt damage reduced by 10%.
      • Developers’ notes: Beast Mastery is overperforming in single target, and we’d like to reduce its single target while improving its lackluster AOE.
      • Barbed Shot damage reduced by 25%.
      • Stomp damage increased by 50%.
      • Multi-Shot damage increased by 100%.
      • Explosive Venom now procs at 3 stacks (was 5) and will appropriately apply Serpent Sting to enemies regardless of their distance to the caster.
    • Marksmanship
      • Developers’ notes: Dark Ranger is overperforming in single target and we’re looking to reduce it while compensating with some AOE buffs to keep the AOE performance roughly the same.
      • Dark Ranger: Black Arrow damage reduced by 10%.
      • Dark Ranger: Bleak Powder damage increased by 25%.
      • Dark Ranger: Shadow Surge damage increased by 25%.

The goal of these changes is to provide a better balance of Byproduct supply relative to their demand, without significantly impacting the value of a prospecting action.

WoW’s 20th Anniversary

  • Moved the Bronze Celebration token for the “Spread the Light” zone activity to the World Quest “Spreading the Light” to match the top-level activity quest like other zones.
    • Developers’ notes: The token won’t show since the weekly chest will take priority. These are still once per Warband per specific quest.
  • Fixed an issue causing inconsistencies in the objectives of Dire Maul West.
  • Reduced the damage of Azuregos’s abilities.
  • Adjusted the number of maximum tanks and healers for The Codex of Chromie to allow for more damage dealers. The new values are: 2 tanks maximum, 3 healers maximum, and 15 damage maximum. At a minimum, 1 tank, 1 healer, and 8 damage dealers are required.
  • The Dornagal Worldsoul, Archive, and Delve quests should now always provide 2 tokens.
    • Developers’ notes: These quests stick around for up to 3 weeks. Some characters would have seen 3 this week and some would see only 1 new quest for characters keeping up each week. Those with 2 or 3 saw 2 tokens on each, but after completing one of the quests, the other quests no longer showed tokens. We did this to keep things more fair, but it resulted in confusion. This change makes it per-quest across the account. Everyone should now be able to pick up the tokens from these on alts if their first Warband character completed it already, but did not get the tokens.

    • Fixed an issue that was causing leveling players to not receive gold drops from some bosses.

Can we please fix Frost Mage? Arcane Spellslinger nerfs also hit Frost Spellslinger Orbs, and Frostfire buffs from previous fix are gone

This is literally the worst idea ive ever seen, when you nerf something into the ground do you ever thing how much time someone spends building that character up? the cost? the building of comps during a season? INSTEAD OF NERFING THE CLASS MAKE OTHERS STRONGER OR MORE COMPETITIVE. Have you not noticed that people are not enjoying the new m+ season? that dps output became way more important??? Ive been playing this game for years now. nerfing like this is just lazy and pisses off everyone who spend so much time building characters. I just did 1.25 overall on a 8 COT, 627 ilev and a 620 ilev dude almost parsed me. FIX THIS NOW

Uhm i don’t want to be rude … But really? … Look at the ladders and what classes dominate … Frost dk is again one of the worst … and they keep killing it … Buffed or nerfed in the past means nothing … We are talking about present time… Reaper got nerfed before to … And 22% … Is not a small amount … In pvp it will be felt hardly when you burst

I’m Speechless yesterday I was confidently doing level 9/10 delves, me as Tank Brann as healer pulling small to mid sized groups…today can’t even do a level 7 any more than 2 mobs and its a wipe!!! just kept being wiped by 2 non caster - non elite standard mobs in a level 7 delve…nice way to kill it for non-raider or mythic players!

Frost mages got nerfed pretty big. Tried Spell Slinger and Frost Fire, but both specs are worse then before the patch. The buffs are gone and the splinterstorm isn’t doing enough.

Also noticed that Death Chill doesn’t work always in Icy Veins.
