weird gap where my alts due to the champ catchup gear from the two new zones, can easily delve t8 where champion crest drops but in the meantime from world content I get unlimited veteran crests with hardly any veteran gear to spend the veteran crests on. Then I miss out on the conversion achi (lack of ilvl) and sitting on hundreds of veteran crest cause I cannot buy the champion crest to upgrade the champion gear… MEH!

Yeah, also noticed you can only upgrade veteran crests after you’ve already upgraded all your champion gear at least once… very bad design.

Can you get crafted items for those few slots that are holding you back due to them being Champion 1/6 or lower? I think 2-star quality Spark-crafted equipment with no crests used is ilvl250, which is sufficient to unlock the Veteran->Champion crest upgrade.

Hmm, I’ll try this one thanks. For some reason I always forget that crafted gear exists.
I’d like to see warband wide upgrade system. Would make our alts life easier imo.
we had that with valor stones in df, felt bad to farm +2s to upgrade my max ilvl gear
We had valorstones AND crests though. It’s definitely better now… maybe just once a character has achieved the ability to upgrade crests, alts should get it too.
that I would not mind ngl, it’s already a bit easier with having crest discount with the achives, I would assume tho that it’s a bigger problem for ppl with many alts. I play only 2 chars and gearing the second one was easy. Got a full set of 220 warbound gear and went to spam keys untill I got to +6, after that just did those for hero gear and crests

Probably, I certainly can’t be bothered gearing past two.
Only reason I geared 2 was me swapping mains for s2
that’s still 1/6 champ, doesn’t help unlocking upgrading vet crests to champ
Find it easy to gear this season, only trinkets is a bit of rng.. but those comes quite often from delves, also one of the rares in Naigtal seems to have a high chance of dropping a warbound trinket, the silverdragon rare (forgot name).
What ilvl is that again?
All slot has to be 250 aka 2/6 Champ or 6/6 Vet I believe to get the achi what makes exchange possible.
Once I hit the milestone on my main, I wanna see the benefits on my alts too, that’s all.

I just do it for transmog most of the time anyway, so having to find rings, neck and trinkets is such a slog.
