In the new campaign quests Sylvanas’s voice is so off, it is like if it was made with AI. Theres is no rhythm to it, harsh stops between sentances and overall it is just so lifeless. It becomes even more noticable when she sings, it is very robotic. This is not Patty quality voice acting.
I asked around while doing the quests in the Maw and others noticed it to.
Thoughts?

I just thought that she forgot how to sing. Before Cataclysm, sometimes I sneaked into the Undercity just to hear her sing.

I dont like her after Legion. But this video was nice.
She sounds the same to me just a little aged, which is to be expected. They also had the VA try to sing the new song instead of whomever first recorded the lament of the highborn, which I imagine would be rather difficult.
She sounded off. It’s a shame.
Didn’t she say at Blizcon one year she almost lost her voice doing Sylv and had to change it up a bit?

I also thought Sylvanas sounded really weird…almost rushed. It felt as if her lines were slightly sped up and, as such, it sounded unnatural.
Given how much exposure she has had over the years, players are very familiar with how she sounds so any changes now (whether creative or deliberate) just seem overly bizarre. I hope she doesn’t return again with that style of talking.

At least you have voices… This patch some languages are totally silent following Microsoft’s new policy about AI voicing and actors who refused to comply, so get accustomed to some characters feeling “off”
