I follow many well-known streamers and YouTubers regarding warlock (all three specializations), and the class is often referred to as “insane”.
I don’t have a lot of arena experience, I did almost 2.2k some time ago and almost 2.4k in solo shuffle a few seasons ago, but currently I’m asking you if our beloved class is really “insane”. In every single shuffle (I’m on 2k) statistically I very often encounter dh/war/monk or assa/dk/retri or in any case combinations of various melee (unlike the various YouTube videos).
The damage that can be produced under two melees is often very low (yesterday while I was trying to cast a shadowbolt a rogue was around 230k dps) and despite abusing fake casts and also using the portal/gateway correctly, in this season I am unable to take the sufficient distance that allows me to produce damage. I go from winning 6/6 to times when if I manage to win 1/2 it’s a celebration.
I just wanted to know if I’m the one who has become too old or if you too have similar problems
