This game is trash

So I came to try out the new season and I only meet disappoointment after disappointment.
You log in just to see all addons being broken again and additionally some new visual bugs appear that can only be fixed by completely reinstalling the entire game (with addons).
Then you find out that all your gear is worthless and you need to grind some green (GREEN!!!) gear that completely replaces everything you did before.
Then it turns out that every class has some 100 new different hidden passives that completely changes the balance of the game and you will not figure it out until you study this game for a month like its some exam.
I really wanted to play this new season but it feels like blizz does everything in their power to make it as bad as possible. I dont even want to play it anymore. I rather level another character in hardcore at this point and maybe come back 1 month before season ends to get elite transmog.
It’s just not fun. I dont understand how you all can enjoy this.

agree with the topic but i personally find it to be the mess they did with shuffle to the game and the wild balance changes through reworks or thoughtless tunings, also another season of divided playerbase with option to sit 50min que as dps for shuffle or que healer with less value out of it or spend your afternoon in empty lfg with either when everyone are wasting their time with shuffle.

anything else or related gear or addons/wa i can deal with but to ruin the only content i like doing on this game this much by the actions done to this expansion to it i cant look through fingers, i also call it as what it is and it is a total failure

i believe hardly anyone does, they just play it cos theres nothing else similar or its the nostalgia or coping that it would get better somehow

Problem in rated 2v2 - 3v3 is that is full of highskill players.

No room to gradualy improve.

They mess up pvp rly hard on all ways.

But some bgs, a bit of shuffle just for improving, still intind it fun.

Except the fact that im getting 0 points in 3-3 4-2 stupid mmr in shufles as a healer

Still, fun if u dont take it rly seriously

I met 12 glaidators at 1200 on alts. Crazy

and if true to a degree that is literally the result only cause of adding shuffles handing arena ranks but separating it from arenas so dividing playerbase, im only repeating this cause you replyed to me and i covered it on my post, there is still some casual people me including playing arenas but there used to be whole lot more before shuffles. now everything is ruined so that there is not a single good option left in the game pvp wise. i agree with you and the op that they messed up really big this time, honestly dont know if or when there even is recovery from this, i dont see it very likely in near future or even years as the results of this will need alot things to change till it could become any better

no clue either, somekind of stockholm syndrome maybe, the content is so bad that i dont have interest to play it even with faster ques on heals, cant imagine why people would spend entire season playing nothing but it as dps with the longer ques aswell, the content is equally bad for all

The pvp side of the game was driven to trash by blizzard to appease world first raiders, who want pvp gear to be awful, so they don’t have to get it

first two weeks of a new season are always really sweaty, I’d suggest just cap conquest and get 3 vaults and then start to push when they’ve all moved up.

If you can get 1600 in a bracket for 2 set this week that’s great, no big deal if not, it will be a long season, if you just like to play arena and chill it’s not really worth playing beyond 3 vaults this week

IMO the problem is MMR getting a soft reset for everyone at the start of the season, no one should be playing multi-glad / rank 1 players at 1600 mmr, if anything it is bad for the health and longevity of arena as a whole, all it does is discourage players from engaging in arena, right at the start of the season, no one likes to go in and get stomped multiple times in a row, it’s self-defeating for the game, I’m not sure why blizzard do it with WoW because it doesn’t happen with any other competitive game that I’m aware of.

well that is a discussion of reworking the whole rating system in the game, but i pointed out that all of these problems in df are directly caused by how they made shuffle which is not a soloq what people asked for, basically how it divides playerbase and how it is bad for healers, now you have insufferable situation in all regards

its rly a nobrainer why were here, mode bad for heals, ques long for dps, heals want play arena, dps wants play shuffle, shuffle hands ppl arena achievements, no one wants play arena, healers dont want play shuffles, dps sitting 50min ques for shuffles instead trying get into arena

couldnt had caused more messed up situation really and it all points to shuffle

Yes, I think Wrath classic also contributed to this, and solo queue rbgs will just make it worse.

yep those also factor in on the divide part, could mentioned it but meh. shuffle is biggest reason for retail how they ruined the game beyond repair for now, i dont like to be negative but i just point out facts and the situation is anything but positive

Rated arena should be 3v3 only in my opinion, and conquest and all rewards should only be gained from rated 3v3. Shuffle should replace RBG as the new solo RBG. People play path of least resistence and it currently is shuffle and followed by 2v2. If they HAVE TO play 3v3 for rewards they will play it and activity will be way higher.

I actually agree with that statement. Shadowlands Season 1 was super good. Everybody was playing PvP. It was the change we needed for PvP. RBGs LFG was full of people. Same goes for arena LFG. It was a good thing, so naturally, Blizzard reverted it in season 2, by nerfing the ilvl of upgrades.

Best combo we could have is Shadowlands ilvl upgrades, but the PvP ilvl is the same for unranked to elite and the ilvl upgrade is only a thing for PvE raiding, mythic + and outdoor content. That way even “casual” players would be interested to click the Join button.

all the dhs and arms chronically queing shuffle currently with surprised pikachu face “whaaa do i mean nothing to you?”

That is the absolute worst take ever. PvP is a struggling gamemode as a whole in wow, BGs being by far the most popular by a landslide followed by shuffle, 3v3 represents less than 10% of the PvP playerbase.

What the game needs is to stop listening to the tiny extremely loud minority. Your sole argument is the same i see repeatedly used “remove shuffle, force people back into my prefered gamemode, remove the choice!”

First off, you dont care about the game health clearly. you want people forced back into LFG to inflate the ladder so you can reach your rating goals, how about we just add 300.000 bots to 3v3 to inflate the ladder so R1 is 7000 rating. that would make most people shut up n happily type “6400 exp hunter LF 3s, be simular exp! if your lower rating dont even write to me ill put you on ignore instantly!”

See i dont even enjoy shuffle myself due to the que times but takes like this makes me happy to see 3s dying because it brings up the fundamental reason for it happening, the community in this game is disgusting n the reason people prefer shuffle is because they dont have to interact with the community.

The people with weaponized antisocial disorders spewing garbage you encounter in shuffle are the same people that you were previously forced to actively interact with to actually be able to play the game, you still encounter them in shuffle of course but unlike regular arena you can just ignore them n keep queing, THAT is the reason people prefer shuffle.

The game needs to attract new players to partake in PvP. The old format will never accomplish that.

talking of least resistance i hear arms is pretty busted too, long time rogue main friend switch to arms and said his having way more fun, his just laughing in shuffle now

i guess i would need to reroll, dh,uhdk, arms by the looks of it but honestly i rather be angry than play something that im not even least of interested, i already have 7 different classes just none of them is as easy

It is not MY preferred game mode but the one blizzard claims PvP is balanced around. If blizzard makes entire PvP balance and max rewards (glad mount, R1 titles) around 3v3, then it should be THE mode everyone is playing. Either force everyone to play this game mode they specifically support, or they should stop balancing around 3v3 and balance around whatever mode is the most relevant according to you.
And no, a game mode where a dps player has waiting time for up to 1 hour isn’t balanced by definition as you spend more time waiting than playing it.

And the reason people prefer shuffle is because it saves you the effort of finding teammates and it also gives you easy mmr to get all the rewards without playing the actual game (for dps at least, which is why you have 20 dps players for every healer because healer mmr is scuffed), so don’t give me that pathetic excuse. Its all about the rewards for the average wow player, and never about the game mode.

And the only way to achieve that is making the entire PvP aspect of the game free to play, we already talked about it. Even if you make 3v3 or whatever perfectly balanced, no new players will start playing it. Current wow as a whole with all the addons and crap is too convoluted for any new player to be willing to join.

they should had kept the suggested approach thats been given them for past 7 years or so, to make soloq happen and thrown it into mix with 3v3 bracket, just a normal 1 rounder with option to continue or continue solo for next

the idea is have easy access but also keep the coordinated and team gameplay alive and as the main goal like typically in mmos something end game requiring group, its a stepping stone to get in for the pugs and form alliances rather than spend 5 hours in lfg and naturally they have harder versus some team they encounter but that is the incentive to also form one of their own eventually

we cant have lfr type content be our end game of mmo, imagine if the situation in pvp were happening in pve now? if noobs queing lfr would gain ahead of the curves and mythic gears and mythic titles and whatnot by doing sub obtimal random gameplay doing god knows what. that would basically be the end of pve wouldnt it

imagine lfr as equal to mythic raid, why would anyone try raid with guild if they gained everything from just lfr, i dont understand how this is not compared for shuffle as its exactly the same situation
