What do you guys think about the Season 2 tier set for BDK and small changes?
I know its still early on and things may change however looking at the tierset and changes i feel like once again Blood will be the worst tank by far that is almost unplayable at high keys.
5% higher chance of crimson scourge combined with San Layn gives you a 5% higher chance to get 10% strenght for a few seconds is meh at best.
15% attack speed also doesnt seem very good at all if youre playing Deathbringer.
And all the buffs dont really help with Bloods ability to survive multiple hits outside of DRW.
Seems to me like its still gonna be RNG if your Apex talents proc and make you survive the pull.
Please rework the Apex Talents and the Tier Set coming up in Season 2 of Midnight. This class is going downhill more and more with every patch since Blizzard nerfed Deathstrike in TWW S1 Beta.
it’s as bad as it can get. Blizzard also nerfing Uh’s ability to raise large numbers of ghouls sucks so hard it’s unreal. i kid you not, things looks bleak for blood and uh dk.
I will try to give you bit more perspective guys
Crimson Scourge has 25% proc chance off melee auto attacks.
Crimson Scourge NEVER procs as long as you stand in Death & Decay.
While tanking more than 2 mobs you always wanna be in DnD (and the more mobs, the more impotant it is), otherwise you lose all the benefits of DnD damage / mitigation / healing and most significantly increased Rp generation for your DS to stay alive.
The only scenarios where it feasible to wait for Crimson Scourge proc is boss fights. But even there this bonus set is extremely mediocre.
TLDR when tanking multiple mobs, you wanna always stand in DnD. > If you always stand in DnD, you never procs your crimson scourge > enjoy your next season bonus 100% focused on crimson scourge.
Its officially over for BDK guess im playing another game till Season 3 arrives with the hopes this class will be playable one day when Blizzard finally fires the Guy responsible for Blood Dk balance.
this is where i am at right now. with zero meaningful changes to blood, the new 4 set and gearing changes that will put us several item levels behind raiders for the duration of the whole season there is no motivation for me to play
