Timewalking over tuned to hell

This really needs to be highlighted.

snaps fingers

You’re now whi- black.

entered *bloodmaul (not dire maul) on my fresh dinged druid expecting to have some fun as bookin…

tank got hit by all crushes of the first 2 ogres… he left, i swaped to bear and it was a slow but smooth run

i just marked stuff with skull and they killed it, interrupted what most critical spells like the aoe fears
marked myself with a Square and told them to stack on me on last boss, worked like a charm

who would have guessed that a simple Skull marking macro and 1 line of chat would make a big diference.

the guys were even kind enough to give me 4 pieces of 425 gear  replacing my 385 boa gear

Huh? I don’t get it.

dam, bloodmaul :stuck_out_tongue: ogre stuff in my head

To clarify I have done those instances when they were current in heroic and later mythic.

How do you expect new players, casual players or returning players who never did that dungeon when it was current in “hard mode” to perform as you and I?

They don’t know to hide behind the saronite rocks, they ninja pull everything, they don’t go up the ramp after the zombie boss, they damage/heal when marked? And the mechanics are scaled in such a way its unforgiving.

By reading the dungeon journal.

… That’s not something random people queueing for casual hit boss loot stuff do

Maybe they should start doing that then.

i also dont expect them to be able to handle themselfs on 120 dungs, i also expect them to come to the forums complaining fire on the ground deals too much dmg

thank god we dont have something horrible like “do 4 mythic dungs” weekly quest

Hard dungeons is fun but only if the rewards are worth it, up the rewards and it’s all good

I think its perfectly balanced for 120’s.
But it’s blatantly not balanced for anyone below 120, which is a real shame.
We had a 105 DH tank and he was dying over and over, we had to kick him. I felt bad since he wasn’t doing anything wrong, he just couldn’t survive the numbers being thrown at him.

People seem to forget that just because your level scales down doesn’t remove the fact that 120 players have better itemized gear, the cloak, neck, corruptions, azerite traits and neck essences.

I think it perfectly show cases the “borrowed power” issue.

He was doing something wrong if he kept dying.

No, he was not.
He was dying to trash mobs with no mechanics and the healer was healing him.
He literally couldn’t survive the packs, I was watching him.

To one trash mob you could literally be an AFK punching bag and still survive.

It was way over-tuned for a poorly geared 105 character.

So he wasn’t using mitigation. That’s doing something wrong.

He was using his defensive. He was even jumping away to try and kite.
We tried multiple times, the four of us were noticing it. We didn’t kick him because he sucked, but because he just couldn’t survive.

And it was a trash pack, you don’t need all your CDs up for trash packs.
