I am still able to go to the forums and easily find RP events and RP guilds, what is your point with this?
The point is, is that guild advertisements and what guilds’ next endeavors are, have moved away to other forms of media.
These days, recruitment seems to be done in game and the use of discord is the new method of informing guild members of forthcoming events.
We have so many RP Guilds that are true to RP and have been around since before Legion, but they have simply left the server forums and the only time we see people from those guilds post is when their are server-wide events taking place. I haven’t seen any new information on what the Sanguine Eye are doing in years - yet they are still, very much active.

coomers and ERP guilds have mostly just gotten sneakier, changed their ways, or gotten socially exiled from the server (hi duskwood church guy), that’s the prime difference.

Argent archives is the prime place to go to. That has always been the case as far as I know.
But, yes, this is a good point. Discord does create a bit of a wall at times.

I’m tempted for a Nightborne. Horde IS superior when it comes to factions (a rank under the Scourge mind you) but… All my friends are Alliance u_u
Funny and ironic how Laviolette cares so much about this topic. You just know this person is losing strands of hair every time he/she posts.
At this point it’s just getting pathetic and I’d advise to just leave the topic before you go fully bald, but if you insist, please keep bumping this topic, bringing more attention to the topic of ‘RP servers for RPers’, is always a good thing.

it´s all fun and games until you want to do some level grinding and raiding and then get kicked off the server because you´re not roleplaying with others.
Which litterally never happens or will. As has been said by essentially -EVERYONE- a million times already, wanting to do PvE ocassionally is perfectly fine, and alot of roleplayers are quite good at the game in terms of PvE/PvP etc.
But people like a certain void elf poster who has -zero-, absolutley no intentions or desires to RP whatsoever, at any time in their WoW history, and has also admitted such along with full on activly admitting that they want more people like them to join AD soley because its fun to disrupt rpers activities, is not okay.
That’s what people are against. I honestly believe you won’t find a single person who are against doing any OOC activity whatsoever, but your primary reason to be on AD should still be to RP.
