Too much trash items

I recently came back from a brake, and have been playing Mechagon and Najatar to get my flying achievement done. Now i am not the most tidy person, but i like when my wow character inventory is well organised. So in the past every couple of days (maybe twice a week) i used to clean up my inventory to make it as i like it.

However , now when i log in and play an hour of Najatar and Mechagon i get so many trash items in bags, and even in mail. What is worst mail sometimes buggs , and i cant delete trash items directly in the mail …

So i basically now i fell that i have to clean after every play session … Anyways … this is kinda really annoying to my OCD …

what i wanted to ask is how do you guys handle this issue ? or maybe you don’t mind it …

Best regards
D.

It’s a bit annoying, by now I’m pretty used to it and just clean up my inv every. single. day

Else trash just overfloweth… and I can’t stand it.

I don’t mind all the trash, I vendor it all away anyway for easy cash-moneh :sunglasses::dollar:

deal with it

Try that on 12-13 different characters

You’ll get burned out and pissed off in 3 days

Well, that’s my secret… I’m always burned out and pissed off.

But yeah I imagine I would be, luckily I don’t have too many alts.

i love trash items, its free money , and quite a considerable amount as well. what bugs me WAY more are those “useable items” you get from nazjatar and the spare parts in mechagon. they take up a fck ton of space in my inventory and bank (especially the spare parts :face_vomiting:).

i got an auto sell addon which vendors all the trash for me and a vendor mount so its really no big deal for me. when it gets too crowded, i just hop on my mount, sell stuff and then keep on doing whatever i was doing. :woman_shrugging:

Its free cash, and it takes a long time for your bags to get full. Even if i farm leather for 2 hours my bags are not full with trash yet.

Since you mentioned OCD. You can keep your bags nice and clean by just mounting up your wooly mammoth with vendors and sell all of it. It costs merely 10k gold in Northrend dalaran.

Honestly i dont get why some people dont just pick it up with auto loot on. It might seem trash but its easily a few hundred gold all together in the current expansion. It pays for your repairs easily.

The amount of junk we get in certain areas is certainly astounding, Mechagon as you said come in mind. But I mean, there’s so much cogs and wheels and screws and such on everything there, we need to harvest everything for good money ~

I’m hoarding a lot of useless stuff on me at the same time, so I need to often clear up my inventory. But I don’t mind it a lot. I actually like vendoring stuff.

Agreed they added way too many soulbound non stacking items in this expansion. Is getting out of hand.

Blizz should code stacking items such as the fur cloth scraps we got in WoTLK insteak of mobs dropping 10 different grey items

Auto vendor every time I repair seems to keep my bags down to a reasonable level. I also try and visit the bank a couple of times a week to move all my crafting stuff into the reagent bank.

Like, I understand that realistically mobs have a lot of stuff on their person, but what worries me is our player characters obsessive compulsive urge to value so much crap as potentially worth picking up!

Not just greys; why would you loot the 20 ilvl downgrade instead of rooting through the boss’s stomach a bit longer for that BiS titanforge…?

There’s so many items (particularly from Mechagon) that you’re supposed to collect and keep (e.g. spare crates, galvanic ossilators, various different chest keys), which are taking up a whole load of room in my bags. It would be really useful if they could open a Bank of Mechagon in Rustbolt so that we could offload some of those items sooner rather than later!

never had more than half full in my bags, you’ve either got small bags or are farming for way longer than an hour between selling. I don’t find it an issue at all, and they greys sell for 1-2g each for most of em …
So no, there isn’t too many grey items.

You need to buy the 20k mount to sell everything when bags get full.

It’s not an inventory space issue. It’s an unnecessary bloat issue.

There’s really no need from a game design point of view to have 20 different types of sprocket in your bags when you do your dailies on Mechagon.

yep, but we do not need to invest bigger bags if we do not get more and more trash… if tailors do not create bags… what would they do?

Engineers should make a TRASH-O-MATIC-5000 device. It would automatically trash items of white quality or worse in exchange for for gold.

One item slot to rule them all

I only play Uruk and use the alts to make me rich, and even then I get burnt out from Nazjatar and Junkagon and their trash. xD
