The dark versions (not the silver ones you can buy for phantasma) of the new shoulder transmogs drop from torghast bosses layers 9 and up (correct me if they drop on lower ones aswell) but the problem is that the dropchance is only 0.3-0.8% which means you’d have to kill almost 200 layer endbosses for the probability to be in your favor to even see one of those drops once and even then it’s not guaranteed if RNGesus hates you.
What’s even worse is that seemingly all the pieces can drop from any boss in torghast. So even if you do get a drop it might not even be the one you’re looking for and the grind restarts.
The dropchance needs to be raised to at least 10%.
This is ridiculous. I’m pretty sure no one enjoys doing torghast 100s of times a week just to farm some transmogs.
The average player won’t do torghast enough to even see 1 of those new shoulders. They will at most cap out tower knowledge/ash/cinders and call it a week.
While your statement may be true for other aspects in the game. It just doesn’t apply to torghast.
Most people won’t see those shoulders drop unless they actively farm torghast.
This is something they put into the game that most people won’t ever see assuming all they do is like 5 5-gem runs per week on Layer 9 which is already generous tbh. That’s ~25 bosses per month (if they Never skip a week) and ~130 in 6 months (when the next patch will hopefully release in worst case).
This means in 6 months even if you do this content how they want you to, you may very well never see a drop. And there’s like 18 of them. I feel bad for whoever actually wants all of them
By the time the probability is in your favor the expansion will be over and you will maybe have gotten 1 or 2 of those mogs (if you’re lucky )
And unless they keep adding to torghast no one will ever touch it again after SL.
