Tradable gilded crests <3

Id like to see traded gilded crests in TWW.

Why not? :slight_smile: would anyone complain or can it lead to more ppl playing? The expansion is coming to an end, and im sure im not alone with having weekly vault alts stacked with 1/8 items and dead crests on other maxed chars what would gear them up.

I have a ton of gilded crests I can’t even use on characters because they’re only for PvP. Would be nice if I could send them over to characters I actually play in PvE.

The situation with crests in general is moronic. Let me tell you that. The ONLY purpose for crests is to upgrade gear. And that is a mistake.

Right now I am siting on 1000 crests with absolutely nothing to do with them.

And when we had a cap on crests, I was sitting on 1000 Champion, 1000 veteran, 1000 bla-bla (cant remember their names) and 0 guilded crests. Because only guilded crests were used to upgrade gear.

That situation is stupid and moronic. Let me tell you that.

But allowing trade of crests is not a solution. What is sais is: Alts are the thing to do. ONLY. Which I disagree with as well.

This is what should be done:

  • No limit on crests. From the start.
  • The limit is on what you spend them on: Max X crests spent on upgrades.

Then, you got 1000 crests in your bag. And you give other reasons to spend them in. Such as:

  • Consumables for M+. Like pots and flasks, that are better than the ones you can buy with gold.
  • Terciary enchants.
  • Key upgrades.
  • Key rerolls.
  • Or even better, specific M+ centric trinkets and weapons. That give specific boosts for you in M+. To buy.

Things that allow you to spend an infinite amount of crests in. Given that in M+ you can potentially have an infinite amount of them. Early in the season, or late in the season (such as right now).

And between gear upgrades, consumables, key upgrades and rerolls I can guarantee you that you will be at 0 crests from day 1 of the season to the final day. Always spending them on something.
