Historically Iâve witnessed anything from feral worgen packs to druidic protectors. These days I couldnât say, though I doubt the recipe is drastically altered.
It varies, but 99% of the time thereâll be druids and Elune priests/priestessâs lurking around.
But more often than not youâll get druid/warden/priest RPers saying that anyone using dark magic (Fel, shadow, void etc) and undead are forbidden from it because:
âIt could corrupt the grove/moonwell.â
And that they forbid anyone from taking moonwell water, saying itâs sacred and highly valuable. Theyâll threaten with violence if you try and toss you out.
Theyâve eased back on that, or those present didnât care when my dwarf shaman placed his bloodied feet in. Though that was a couple of months back.
Itâs the usual Duskwood though. Itâs hit and miss.
But isnât that makes sense? I mean, moonwell is a very powerful and usefull thing. I think all people in darkshire are interested to keep it away from any possible fel or shadow corruptions
Trust me if ONE person could corrupt the well so easily by themselves then the curse in DUSKWOOD ITSELF would have taken both the grove and the well a very long time ago.
I think itâs fair not to be wanting dark magic practiced around the well, just like you wouldnât go summon a demon in the cathedral in Stormwind, but just being there for whatever reason, shouldnât be a problem
Based on the WoW wiki
they are mini wells of eternity holding a fraction of the real deals power, mostly healing.
bathing in one can ease pain, some of them can be used to cleanse scourge taint from animals and their corrupted counterpart can apparently make satyrs.
Also and this is from memory.
I seem to recall something or other about how a vial of moonwell water could be used to combat mana addiction the blood elves used to suffer from, although I cannot stress this enough, I DO NOT recall where I heard that from.
