I did a few BGs with 2-piece and the soul reaper effect increased my damange by a whopping 0.2%. I guess I was expecting too much for at least a 1% increase. The soul reaper proc takes 5 seconds to go off and only works if the target is below 35% hp, so once in a blue moon in pvp it might work. With the 4-piece I can look forward to a 3-4% damage increase in pvp from 10% increased pet damage. This is garbage compared to what other classes get. If Blizzard is going to make tier sets this unbalanced then I’d rather they just give up on the whole concept.

i think you might be playing it wrong then because unholy with 4 set is actually really really strong
change your legendary and talents to focus on minion damage
I’ve killed people multiple times with the 2set.
I’ve seen it hit for 9k+
