So the horde always complain that Alliance characters don’t die or whatever, which is Rubbish. But anyway Kill Anduin, or have him as a Raid boss with Sylvanas.
Who will become king of Stormwind?
Well Turalyon. I mean he’s already “temporary leader” of stormwind.
And when Turalyon becomes king, guess who’s becoming Queen?
Alleria MUH KWEEEEEEEEEEEN. I mean her statue is already at Stormwind, so it’s destiny
and guess who’s becoming Prince? Arator!
Enough of humans. It’s time for a little diversity in Stormwind. I mean… a Troll was warchief of the horde, and a zombie elf.
Why not a mixed human-elf family for Stormwind?
While we’re at it kill Genn too, he’s not doing ANYTHING for Gilneas. I think he’s Daughter will do a better job.
Well isn’t being exiled from our home enough? Living on the streets of stormwind, having a inn smaller than a outdoors bathroom. No cultural buildings at all
Alleria is the best leader the void elves have and she actually saved us from going completely insane.
I like Anduin as a character and i think he’s disliked mostly because WoW’s playerbase is just too edgy and bloodthirsty to appreciate lawful good characters, and he’s one of the few that actually falls under this alignment.
Alleria is not going insane any time soon. She’s better at controlling the whispers than any void elf would. She’s literally the queen of void in a way. She is the one that teach the void elves how to control the whispers. She is the best at controlling the void. She is the first void elf.
If blizzard makes her insane, that’s just bad writing and repetition of the whole “windrunner going evil” thing.
So no thank you, Alleria is here to stay. Otherwise the Void elf race wouldn’t stand a chance
And for your information, it was Alleria’s whispers that Warned Alleria of Sylvanas betrayal. The void told Alleria to kill Sylvanas, but Alleria refused at the moment. So the void whispers isn’t that bad
The void will present alleria with problems, it is inevitable. We know she continues to hear them strongly even after N’zoth was destroyed, and there is speculation that she’s in fact hearing whispers from the void lords directly.
The fact is if you make it such that Alleria just “tames” the void and muddles through without any issue, you rob the void of all intrigue and nuance that makes it interesting. It is a corruptive power, potentially good, but with a toll to pay. It gives good warnings but also lies. If Alleria simply reaps the benefits then that imo is a huge waste of the narrative she’s been doled out.
Death? No. But I fully expect her to make some questionable decisions later down the line that have her convinced she’s in control, but the void is clouding her judgement. Without that aspect she may as well just be a mage.
It’s why I’m giving her a chance. Characters with potential for error are interesting and real. Characters whom “shoulder a heavy burden” but we never see the impact of that burden (so it may as well not exist) have to be the most boring kinds of characters going. So you hear voices that torment you? Ask you to do things? Show you incomprehensible stuff? Let us see how that weighs on you beyond behaving completely normally but reminding us “oh yeah I hear voices” every so often.
Just my take anyway. There’s a reason Turalyon is lightboi and she is voidgal and it’s because we’re going to see how both cosmic forces can go off at the deep end imo.
The alliance characters are mostly bland and one dimensional. Like how baine and thrall are.
Maybe giving them an epic ending would actually make them interesting for once.
I mean just look at malfurion and Tyrande. Too ancient night elves with so much power and potential backstory.
Yet malfurion’s sleeping 99% of the time and Tyrande’s either saving malfurion and shouting, or hunting sylvanas and shouting, or just shouting “MY BELOVED”.
Anduin’s basically Vanilla. Maybe turning him into the new lich king would turn him interesting for once.
Genn’s definitely the most incompetent human king who has EVER lived in azeroth. He screwed up so many things in his time.
turalyon’s been gone for 90% of wow’s story and now that he’s back, he’s just another BY THE LIGHT paladin. They got plans for him for the future, which is why they made him the replacement king. So i guess we’ll see how he turns out.
And alleria… Another Mary Sue windrunner. Only the inferior Mary Sue for now, since her sister’s doing all the Mary Suing for now.
Alleria is such a terrible character, compared to Sylvanas. Most people only know her as Sylvanas’ missing sister and that high-elf chick who had the hots for human paladin whos name no one can say properly.
Alleria was the first female character to have a Voice actress in Warcraft (waaaay back in Warcraft 2 game) so she was introduced before Sylvanas was. I don’t think anyone thinks of her only as “sylvanas sister”
she is very skilled with dealing with the Amani, to the point where she is named Troll Hunter.
She has a statue in both Stormwind, and Dalaran. Probably had one in Quel’thelas too but got destroyed during the Invastion.
She got the legendary bow Thas’Dorah and her mother’s necklace, which she generously broke it down to 3 pieces for her sisters.
She was given the role of Ranger general BEFORE it was given to Sylvanas, but she refused it like a boss
She risked her life to stop the orcs and go into Outland. To avenge her family, and to avenge her brother’s death .
Sylvanas lost all respects when she allied with the Orcs, who killed her family.
“Your heart flew straight as any arrow upon the wind, sister. You were the brightest of our Order. You were the most beloved of our kin.” - Sylvanas Windrunner’s message under Alleria’s statue
