Double pre-potting armor + haste was a bit degenerate but normal single pre-potting armor was completely fine, the problem is Blizzard broke both. I still armor pre-pot, it’s still better than haste on a fight above 2mins, but as Ulduar progresses (and already on some fights) that becomes an issue.
The only people really double pre-potting were actually speedkill guilds anyway, speedrun guilds weren’t doing it because they don’t have a minute to wait around before each boss, and average guilds weren’t doing it for the same reason. Players like Alanduah were doing it, players who have a guild dedicated to giving them good logs. Everyone else was just single pre-potting armor and then haste later, which is fine.
Wish they would revert it, wish they would remove the dumb community council too, full of idiots.
