Since the release of season 3 every week including this one has been a disaster. Ive been farming the first two bosses on Mythic , weekly, just to have a shot at one of the BiS trinkets that you can get.
I understand and acknowledge that the vault loot is random but I have been receiving the same item ( 1h mace from sentinel for the past 3 weeks) , I am currently wielding the 723 staff so it is no use whatsoever to me.
What I would like is to share with you is an update for the Great Vault.
Let’s say you have even chances to get any item from that loot pool, all fair and square till here.
But lets also say you already have an item , like in my case a weapon which is at 723 item level or better , myth track one , make the vault lower the chances significantly for the weapon slot ( as its already not an upgrade for you and increase the odds on the other items. if the next item I have is a ring on myth track , lower the chances for a ring to drop but not too low ( as you need two of those) , and so on.
Having to pick two sockets from 4 vaults of s3 and never seeing anything more than that damned mace drop in vault it really defeats the whole " here you done those stuff this week , pick a reward for your time spent in game" purpose of the vault.
I DO not want to get free items for minimum play per week but I feel like the vault system is a little outdated compared with all the updates you are pushing through the quality of life updates.
Mind you , m+ players don’t really got a shot at myth track items apart from the weekly hardmode which is not always a success and also the vault system , and already sitting at 1 reward per week is not much , having the same myth track item over and over and over especially at the start of a season is very demoralising.
I hope this PoV and maybe workaround how "random " the items are in the vault might resonate with someone n your end and improve the Great Vault experience for the better!
