Sheep? I do it at my own pleasure thank you very much. I still enjoyed Shadowlands, I enjoyed BFA, just because people dislike the expansion doesn’t mean I can’t have enjoyment out of it. If anything the ones who join the bandwagon and say something is bad because others say it is are sheep, not the ones who mind their own business and do what they enjoy.

The fact that they are running this promotion is proof that they have zero intention of frequent patches in DF and that there will be an extensive content draught. They probably were planning ahead and realized this just now and figured they can just run a 12 month sub promo. That way they have no reason to push out content during the coming year.
exactly i don’t want to be negative but all the signs are there and how many times are the community going to get duped by the same tactics

is that murloc mount gonna be in shop?
If this was aimed at peopel WHO sign for 6 months there woudl be option to upgrade you six months sub to 12 months not buy whole 12 months on top of 6 months. Its promotion aimed to tie people for 18 months if possible.
This shows they have 0 faith in df and know how bad IT will be.

In-game it does have the “In-game shop” suffix underneath it meanwhile the scarab has “Promotional” under it which would make me believe it’ll appear in the shop later.
Well, I have 6 months, I didn’t have to pay the 12 months right now, I’ll only be charged after my current 6 month sub runs out and then it’ll swap to the 12 months sub. Exactly what you said it wasn’t 
I have a question…Why am I not allowed to purchase this promotional offer just because I already have the 6 month subscription. Is there a reason my money is rejected and I am snubbed for buying the 6 months subscription without knowing this would get out. I am a passionate collector of mounts for over 10 years playing this game and this is seriously depressing. I am not sure if I will ever be able to collect these mounts now. How come we are getting punished for actually subscribing. This is beyond annoying and destructive behaviour. Blizzard if you are reading this, you need to provide us with a 6 month subscription to opt in, otherwise we are, for a lack of any better word, scammed!

I had issues at first too, if it says your account isn’t eligible it’s because you’re looking at the American shop, if you check underneath it says “Your other accounts” and it’ll tell you to go to the EU shop.
If this is the issue ofcourse. I could upgrade my 6 month to 12 months.
Are you certain ? People in US forums claim something completly different and that IT Charges imidiately even if you have 6 months runing.

All it did was send an temporary authorization bill to check if the payment option I choose has the funds to cover the bill, it didn’t officially charge anything. And I doubt it will till my gametime runs out (Which would be in december). Atleast this is a very common way of dealing with subscription models.
i dont struggle… there is just better things to use that money on than 3 mounts.
also i doubt i’d play for a year anyway…

It’s great that it’s an option for those who do forsee themselves play consistantly for a year and not forced upon people.
nah bud when people say something is bad… usually it is because they do not like it and see it as bad…
there is no sheep about it…
it’s just a lot of people think current wow is bad…
so it looks like a sheep mentality when it isn’t…
if anything you are a oddity for liking both shadowlands and BFA.

Buying mounts and collecting mounts are two different things…
farming mounts is a game mechanic…
buying mounts is not part of the game you are effectively just making a transaction… store mounts are not special.

I wish they would have put every store mount available via in-game activities. They all have a theme about them that can be used at the end of a long quest chain or achievement, sadly I don’t think this will be the case, the only reason I own store mounts is because I get them for free with my 6 month sub and the only reason I have a 6, now 12 month sub is because it’s cheaper than subscribing for less months at a time.
