Void elfs need alleria's hair colour

Can you show me a source on that please ?

It’s from one of the many Blizzcon interviews from last year.

I could try looking for it.

If you could that would be great thank you .
Could you also tell me why you are agaisnt AR’s getting more options ?

So does this also mean you do not want LFD/DID/NB/HMT/ZT/KT getting anything aswell ?

Aight, found two sources. One from Blizzcon and one from april this year.

For the initial release of Shadowlands, the focus is on the original races. Character customizations is an ongoing project and they’re never completely done.

Q. With these new customizations, will we see improvements to customizations for Allied Races as well? What about Death Knight customizations?

A. So, with new character customization, we are focusing mainly in the original races, not allied races. we are able to apply new customizations to them, like separate the eyes from the rest of the models, with the help of the Technical team, so you have more options to choose from. We are not touching Allied Races at this time, we are focusing on the main races. There are no plans to expanding custom DK customization at this point.

Obviously not. I just want them to focus on the core races first like they said they would do.

Hmm its not so obvious in your replies to some poster’s you come over really aggressive and dismissive of there views but ok if you say so .

I’m not against expanding customization for any race. What I am against is copy pasting assets between races on the opposing factions which does nothing but diminish the aesthetic exclusivity of whatever race it’s done to.

It just so happens to be Blood Elves this time but I’d be equally as against it if it were to happen to Night Elves (most likely candidate after Belfs) or any other race on either faction.

1.Void elves are the same race
2.It wouldn’t change anything, right now when wearing full armor it’s impossible to distinguish void elves from blood elves.

Which makes it all the more important that Blizzard find ways to expand on their differences rather than add to what little they still have in common.

I wish they’d give Blood Elves an additional stance and idle animation so we would at least have the option to not be mistaken for the creeps on the Alliance at first glance.

Scrapping the shorter ears and replacing it with something akin to what the Nightborne has (ear plating) would also help a bit as far as physical differentiation goes. Would be better for everyone if they kept the Half Elf trash on the blue team.

You seen the news about Mag Orcs not only do they have 3 heritage armour they now have more new things then all ARs placed togather.

Well Blizzard wanted to give the High Elf aesthetic to players, they didn’t want only one faction to have it since Alliance have requested for High Elves for 15 years (and even after Void Elves were added they still hoped they will get an High Elf allied race or high elf options for Void Elves, I myself knew Void elves will get high elf options at some point not gonna lie and that’s now) and Horde for the longest time wanted blue eyes, so they went with this comprise. So both sides will get High Elf options, obv Blood elves needed only blue eyes and void elves needed the skin and hair options since their eyes were already blue, as of right now Void elves still need the hair colors and then it’s pretty much done with the High Elf options. Have patience Void Elves will get more void/corrupted options soon. This is a win win for both factions people should be happy (but I understand why some might be angry, but we all knew this was gonna happen you can’t tell me you never saw this coming lol, I’ve seen it right after Void Elves were added honestly)

i love this idea. there is no excuse to not have one at this point.

Trading one eye color for 14 skin tones and X number of hair colors if y’all get your way is more like highway robbery rather than a compromise.

And I don’t know what I expected really. I suppose I had hoped that Blizzard would stay true to their word and not give away the most popular Horde race to the Alliance.

I suspect the bitterness comes in part from the utterly underwhelming stuff Belfs are getting in Shadowlands too. Not sure if I’d feel like this if they were properly compensated.

It’s because blood elves already have the high elf look minus the eyes, void elves are very far from that look that’s why they are getting so many existing skin and hopefully hair colors.

Edit: and too be honest I didn’t get anything I had hoped for. Night elves don’t get golden jewelry nor regal hairstyles, Void elves also didn’t get the full proper high elf aesthetic. But I came to accept that, I think we should just accept the things that are happening as we can’t change them.

Which would turn that allied race into an upgraded version of the core race in every way once they get their pass in 9.1 or whenever the art team pivots to the allied races.

And like you I’m not sold on the Night Elves either. I know the Highborne aren’t exactly a prolific group within their society but I still believe they could have done more with it to provide a contrast to their druidic theme.

I suppose it’s my fault for setting the bar so high in my mind but I really had hoped that they would explore every aspect of each races cultures rather than pin them down to one single overarching aesthetic that excludes some classes/specs within certain races.

Foolish me right. Expecting more from the leading MMO on the market.

I totally agree with you. I would LOVE to have something like light skin and hair colors for blood elves, and no not pale skin colors but something like the lightforged bit so that they would show they use the light while void elves the void. Imagine something like goldenish skin and hair colors for blood elves.

And Vulpera got new eye colors and blind options soo what are you people complaining?

I am all for it, and include For Humans females Jaina’s Haircut and hair color already !

You needed to be told that and than players like to identify with their favorite or some characters they like ? Really ?

Vulpera got eyecolors. Nightborne so far has gotten…1 eyecolor… Void elves have gotten skin colors + eyecolors and you dont seem to be happy with that. You want more when other allied races have barely gotten anything. This is my problem with you people. Void elf as a race was never bad looking. There are worse looking allied races out there.

And who said blizz is gonna do void elves first? I am just saying what I like to see.

o’rly ?

Would like to speak to you …
