Warband experience

Why we are not allowed to get experience on already max lvl character and share it with our warband characters ? Like resources. It would be cool to make our alts max lvl by completing content on our main character.

The most anti rpg thing i’ve ever heard.

Its why for example lost ark have this and its popular mmorarpg

Would this be efficent? Certainly. Would it be fun? To some degree; to ppl like me who mainly like to gear alts once they hit max level. However, getting to know a char by leveling them also increased their emotional value, that’s at least what I learned after using some lvl boosts. Contrary to chars I leveled myself, I often delete those again at some point.

It can be optional to people who want to learn by leveling etc.

Completely removes the whole point of “playing” an alt to begin with if you can jsut collect XP on your main and Poof!! max-level alt 10 seconds after creation. At that point you might as well just play some Private-server knockoff “improved version” that allows you to switch classes randomly.

And as another poster alluded to, for many of us boosted chars are “throwaways” with zero attachment, I have more connection to a remix alt than to something I just pushed a button on and had at max level.

Not to mention people already being mostly clueless of how to play their class being one of what feels like the main complaints, and this most certainly would not help improve that.

Oh yes, really popular… 13k people playing via steam at the moment, i have more than that active on my WoW realm alone as I type this :stuck_out_tongue:

Leveling 1-max has never been so easy or fast as it is now.
If you don’t want to spend the (frankly relative small amount of) time required to level, just buy a boost.

I don’t see whats “cool” about it. You literally just want a max level-char without paying for a boost or putting down any effort what so ever.

Prefer FF14’s job (class) change system…

Same character but you have to level other jobs when you switch learning it as you go. Plus all the Job related quests that comes with it.

Agree, everything else but this done well in ffxiv. Its a hassle to grind other classes, but still good.
