Warband transmog update - only quests and not loot from the past?

It says everywhere that you get transmog for completed quests. But nowhere does it say whether you also get transmog for soulbound items. Could someone please enlighten me?

I had done a lot of raids in the past and got class items with classes that they could never wear, which is why I sold them and now don’t have them anymore.

Quests are easily tracked since they’re flagged being done or not… drops aren’t like that at all, so after a grace period [example item restoration] it’s gone for good.

You can recover items through that, believe it’s up to 3 months? You’ll need to give back what was gained though had you vendored or disenchanted them.

There is no way to know what you had as drops in the past. They don’t keep a record of every item you’ve ever received.
Quest rewards are easy. They look to see if you’ve completed that quest and if the answer is yes then all the quest rewards are added to your collection. They have to note which quests you’ve done so if you go back to a zone they don’t show you all the quests again.

that’s sad, thank you both

Want to know does this apply to shadowlands as I farmed out the mail sets on all 4 factions will they now carry over cloth/mail/leather ect? in the next patch ofc.

Why would it? Each Covenant set purchased with anima is for that set armor type. If you want the other armor types you’d have to buy those.

Those are off vendors, not quests.

You get the set from the renowned gated story quests… you can buy recolor set with Anima…
