Warbands updating your account

Bought and resubbed today, reinstalled and did internet restarts, problem remains unsolved

Same issue. US version works, EU version doesn’t. It doesn’t seem a problem of my internet or the installation but from the account. The Characters cant be load on the web page either, and on my account it say there is a problem loading some extra info. I suppose its all related
 lets hope for a fast solution. I was looking forward to play


Honestly I expected a different day. Resubbed around 10AM, downloaded, and since then can’t log in. Prime gaming time already gone, and I got myself hyped to play, so I cannot really get into anything else.

I do hope we get one additional day of subscription free of charge for this.

Its been 3 Hours since we heard anything atleast update us on what is going on this is super frustrating I bought the expension and game time at 10am CEST and still cant start playing, this is crazy

Same issue.

Tried repairing client, disableing addons and resetting UI, Fushed DNS, Allowed through firewall, Restarted PC.

No luck.

its 100% on their side, cant be that about 100ppl in this thread have the same Game Issue and its not on their side

Just got a quick update from GM. Issue is on their end and there is no known workaround for the current time being.

Thank you for your report and the great details.
This error occured a few hours ago and was reported by you and other players right away.
The developers are currently looking into it already.
Errors like this have a VERY high priority and they will resolve this as fast as technical and human possible.
Right now there is no workaround or fix. All you can do is wait an hour or two and try again.
We have no update yet when it will be fixed but as mentioned before, they are working on it to fix it as fast as they can, I promise.

Same, bought the expansion and 1 month sub this morning and still cant play.
I can play retail just fine on my other account I use only for classic wow which had no characters before on retail version of the game, in fact I think game didnt even need to “load my warbands” since I literally had no characters in that account, but when I try to log on my main account with many characters I left behind when I quitted the game during mid Shadowlands, then I have the same problems of everyone else in this thread.

That is crazy everything works fine on US Servers how did they f up so badly. “All you can do is wait an hour or two and try again” is also just copium from them, its been 18hours since the first person reported this, but sure 1-2 hours

havnt played for years
 finally decided to come back
 and now this crap

Completely reinstalled the game, updated graphics card, ran the CMD IPConfig stuff, uninstalled addon managers,


This is not a good look for someone who was trying to return to the game after many years away.

The issue seems to be with people trying to return after some period of inactivity, I guess?

There is no solution. If you look further up in this thread, there are responses from GMs. The issue is on blizzard’s side.

ye just got the expansion and 1 month time and get this beautifull surprise. since i got both 10minutes ago is there a way for a refund? guess im not in the mood for these things anymore
