Might aswell just consider refunding. Was excited to start again, but that feeling faded quickly.
For me, I’ve last played retail seriously while Pandaria was current expac Since then only briefly played around on free version while I mainly played classic.
Ye it’s caused by this “warband” thing 100%.
As I said I cannot play on my main account because I had tons of characters the moment I stopped playing 2 or 3 years ago, so game is trying to load my warbands but it kicks me out from the server all the time, but on my other account I use only for classic wow I’m actually playing retail right now and I’m levelling a mage in Outland lol

the question is this many people and this is happening for more than 10 hours and there is no fix from blizz? i mean do they even want new players back?

I don’t think so… Otherwise It would’ve been shared here. I already created a reddit post to raise awareness of the issue on r/WoW too.
theres not even one of those notice on the login window of the game so i dont even think they are doing anything about it… is there any place where i can just refund the game?

This error occured a few hours ago and was reported by you and other players right away.
The developers are currently looking into it already.
Errors like this have a VERY high priority and they will resolve this as fast as technical and human possible.
Right now there is no workaround or fix. All you can do is wait an hour or two and try again.
We have no update yet when it will be fixed but as mentioned before, they are working on it to fix it as fast as they can, I promise.
