To get the warfront pets, do you have to be in that 20 person coop thing, or do you just run along the area (like darkshore) and kill the rare spawns?

Just kill the rares in the zone, not when the Warfront is up.
There are fairly often groups in Group Finder that go around and kill them for pets and mounts, which might help with some of the bigger ones.

Thanks. I’ve read somewhere that they respawn quickly but you have only one chance for the pet every now and then, so killing them repeatedly doesn’t work. So when do they reset?

Oh, so you can kill them once every couple of weeks to get a chance.
Yes, about once every three weeks.
