Been on a long ride around most of the game picking up decor here and there on a couple characters. However I noticed that a TON is locked behind these old reps and quests I’ve finished years ago. I don’t mind doing old content and what not, but I don’t see myself grinding these old reps again, nor is this welcoming for new(er) players. I think scrapping expansion currencies for decor and lowering the rep (exalted is insane for a bookshelf just as a random example) would be a step in the right direction.
Before you ask: These old chars no longer exist, so I can’t really log them to grab what I want. I feel like full on warbound should’ve been ready before this were to be launched.
I don’t know, the housing stuff is awesome, but you can already tell there’s a bunch of time-gating behind a lot of the decor that shouldn’t have gating. I’ve seen multiple people talk about it in game and clearly it feels kind of bad as a “veteran” player when systems clash and shuts players out of stuff they would technically have unlocked.
idk, getting some weird and/or bad vibes out of this housing stuff so far. I’m not a raider, nor do I PvP. I’m a casual at heart, loving delves and open world stuff. Housing has been a big wait since it was announced, but idk.. I could just be burnt out of this game.
