We need personal loot in LFR

I know it’s too late in Dragonflight.

But i’m trying to collect all sets on lfr , normal , hc , mythic for every class.

I’ve just finished my 18th char in Vault of Incarnates lfr I got 1 piece of loot out of 54 runs.
People needing when they don’t "need " to need. No one clicks transmog , I saw it happen twice by the same player in one run.

I know everyone thinks they deserves a reward for their time.
Just make it Personal loot again for LFR. I feel it’s the most fair system.

Honestly yes. There’s no reason tbf should have group loot. Hell pugs should be able to choose whether they want group loot, personal loot or master loot . I don’t understand why blizzard moved away from that. Having to rely on luck to gear alts sucks.

I had not raided since BFA, the change was really glaring. It feels worse to me, a lot worse. I get my chances of getting the item I want are probably just as unlikely but SEEING the item being dangled infront of me like i’m a starving peasant begging for food… not enjoyable.

I agree.
I only did one LFR run in DF and at first I was mousing over things and clicking Need only on things I thought I might use. But two things. first I didn’t really have time to do this as the group was already running off to the next boss, second everyone else was just clicking Need so I could never get anything. So basically I was just clicking Need on everything to get rid of the window to run after the rest of the group.

So if everyone is just clicking Need all the time, let’s just have the system do it automatically.

In Random Match Making it should just be Personal Loot.

In Premade groups then they can have whatever they prefer.

But personal loot bad!

Master loot good!

That loot tease plus blizzard refusal to make raids shorter, less mobs and more check points forced me to stop playing at all.

Master loot was scummy af for pugs, the amount of times you’d get to a boss and watch almost everyone leave to then realise the leader all of a sudden wanted something from the boss so switched it to master loot or you’d join a group with masterloot on and all the loot would insta go to leader and friends and everyone would leave was crazy.

Master loot may have been better, but once again toxic greedy players ruined it for everyone else.

And personal loot just lead to class stacking for force feed 2-3 people so again, ruined.

There isnt alot of choices. If you dont want ml or pl, there is the need before greed or the round robin.

As long as it doesn’t manipulate what the boss drops or allows 1 person to be in complete control i dont really care what loot system it is.

think you just ruled out every loot system / rules there are lol.

Other than group loot, hence why its now the norm.

I guess. Although it can be played around to take advantage, or try.

It can be yea, it still works masterloot in guilds but the problem was pugs usually.

The biggest problems that came from personal loot was if you ran a full plate raid it’d remove all mail/leather/cloth from the drop table and guilds were abusing that to gear individuals.

Always fun to see lazy sods and AFK’ers win rolls…

Worst systhem ever
First your item needs too drop whats alrdy have a low chance
Then you roll against 15 people, if its a good one against all of them, and there is no bad luck protaction for your rolls

Lfr should be a loot fiesta and with doing every wing twice you should be deckt out on gear

Yes. Current system, because of the psychological effect, increases toxicity.

Even with personal loot you’d get maybe 2 items a week. Not decked out in 2 weeks unless your doing m+ etc too

It was more like save 2 per wing, you could actual farm the set there in no time

I never need the ilevel from lfr but the transmogg colour looks somethimes rly good, wozld be cool if you just get points and if you only need the transmogg it cost way less points then a full piece with stats

When we’re you doing lfr? :joy: I’d love some of that loot luck

I am glad that someone finally brought it up and I completely agree with you.

It has been so long since I had personal loot as an option that I’ve completely forgotten about it.

LFR has pretty much been the only way for me to engage in raids both in terms of lore and loot more for more often than I’d want to experience.

To my immense dismay; each and every in-game friend and acquaintance of mine has long since been gone.
