I’m playing a level 70 gnome Warrior that I bought boosted to lvl 58 through the blizzard store.
I am now trying to learn weaponsmithing in blacksmithing.
I have 370 skill in blacksmithing and I am max level.
I have googled so much, and everyone is telling me to speak to Ironus Coldsteel at the anvil in Ironforge. I’ve done that, and I still can’t get the quest “The Way of the Weaponsmith”.
I’ve also spoken to the blacksmithing trainer in Stormwind, and he also sent me to another dwarf that was a weaponsmith. Still couldnt get a quest from him.
I have also talked to Bengus Deepforge, who I can ask about Forging weapons, and he sends me off to Ironus Coldsteel, but still no quest.
I’ve also been in Everlook in winterspring, and talked to Lilith the Lithe, I accepted and completed her quest “Sweet Serenity” but still no weapon smithing quest.
Ive been to booty bay and Gadgetzan just to check if there’s any quest / trainer there for me, but no.
What do I need to do? Can’t boosted characters learn weaponsmithing?
You have the other specialisation (armorsmithing) learned by any chance?
You can onlyu have one active specialisation at a time.
Also I found this post somewhere "Before you can get the quest you must talk to “Myolor Sunderfury” who is close by to "Ironus Coldsteel. “Myolor” is actually just a few yards away in the center of the area. I looked for this quest for hours until I decided to go back to the Black-smithing trainer and ask him. Save yourself some time and talk to “Myolor”
You can talk to the “Armorsmith trainer” in IF, in the same place with all the others. If he as option to “unlearn” it then you have already learned it.
Since its a boosted char, maybe you need to get a “pre” Q from the BlackSmith trainer in Outlands? There is one in Hellfire Peninsula.
