Hasn’t let me down yet!

Absolute beast CPU the i9-9900K is very good at overclocking 5GHz at boost is very good output. My 3600x boost to 4.25 GHz with OC, if I try to go higher I think it will burn down my house:p also the Ryzen 5 use 7nm chip and that makes it harder to handle OC temperature :stuck_out_tongue:

Good setup. GTX1080 does still do a fantastic job after all those years :grinning:

It feels like a beast compared to my old PC (an Intel i5 4###K, which is still going strong but struggles a bit in Shadowlands). It’s nice to see that Intel are finally catching up to AMD with regards to performance. We need more competition on the CPU space.

I think wow engine will allways kill cpu when more than 50 people together fighting,i wish they could improve wow to actually use all cores on cpu…

Yes! More competition = cheap for us! I did sell my IMac 27” 4K and built myself a budget gaming desktop In 2019 and I have to say my RX580 and 3600X beats my IMac in performance every single time for a fraction of the price :stuck_out_tongue:

Say that to Trashran :face_holding_back_tears: my PC sound like a airplane and the lagging is insane!

For real though

i7-6700K 4GHz
GTX 980
16GB Ram
1Tb SSD and a few other regular ones
24" 144hz Monitor

Should mention that I refuse to play Wow on higher setting than 5 and I don’t play SL

I won’t upgrade anything until something breaks

You always come with this good food :shallow_pan_of_food: omg I’m so hungry on a hamburger atm

Same goes to my setup. If it doesn’t break I won’t replace anything

I used to run
Core i5 2500k
16Gb Ram
Rog Strix 6Gb GTX 1060 OC

During lock down I upgraded a couple of parts and now run
Ryzen 3700x
32Gb Ram
Rog Strix 6Gb GTX 1060 OC.

I have held off buying a GPU simply because of the shortage and sheer scale of scalping going on.

A 3090 that i managed to snatch and a 5950X Ryzen

The 4K monitor is mainly for my Son, he inherited my Desktop when I purchased the Laptop I currently use.
I’ll give 4K a shot & see how it runs

I am ripping threads with my Threadripper 2920x and RX 590, and I’m likely to not be able to afford any upgrade this year.

Ryzen 7 3700X and GTX 1060. I want to upgrade my CPU to the new 5800X3D, but it’s still too expensive for me.

Some i7 cpu with a 1060 nvidia card.

Works OK enough for me, 30fps 4k is possible, but I prefer 60 fps 1080p.

Recently upgraded from 6700K+1060(6gb)
RTX 3060ti
R5 3600 (Was waiting to replace it for 5800X3D but lost my job just before release…)
4x8gb 3733hz RAM
1440p 165hz MSI Optix
Most of my settings are on max unless its a cpu load setting. I have upscaled it to 4k in game and turned off AA since I find it looking better and it gives better performance.

Ryzen 5 2600X and RTX 3050 @ 60fps 1080p.

Runs very smooth (and quiet) in most zones at highest settings, but I turn a few things down a bit as otherwise certain parts of Bastion drop fps with all those particle effects in the atmosphere.

EVGA 3080 ti / Intel i9 12 gen, Huawei mateview 34” Ultrawide monitor, settings, most things on ultra.
