I think obtaining old cosmetic items from back then should be a part of the Game. i think it would be good for PvP. Players farm and grind for their items. PvP becomes more active and more games are played. It would be a missed opportunity not to make the game more active and reward by bringing back old illusions and items. My suggetion is would be to introduce a token each season that you can get for of 2400 and 500 mark of honors (battle.net account-wide once per season) and use to buy an old set or illusion. That would make the game more intressting and much more rewarding.
Well I do agree with this, but also wonder why expansion based illusions are made for pvp alone, only to be removed at later date, I mean this worked fine with illusions like glorious tyranny or dreadflame but illusions like:
Shadowflame
holyfire
verdiant crush
Sinfull flame
infinite brone
Arcane
Well you get the idea. are these illusions not way to lore based to be removed in general or to be even considered pvp only to begin with? So yes I agree return them for said rating and currency but also in future consider the M+ or raid player base imagine being a pala/priest with no holyfire or a mage with no arcane, and before players say go play pvp there is more to consider, some players dont have time to play both has nothing to to do with skills excluding a whole bracket player base from lore stuff only to remove it later is also a bad route to take IMHO
Pretty sure that’s their twisted idea of why they’re doing it. Something along the lines of “we have to pretend we care about all forms of content and try to incentivize people to play all of it”.
My suggestion is, they don’t tamper with it. Class design and skill ceilings and pvp brackets are alot different from now compared to then, most people get 1.8 or even 2.4 now by playing the raid finder-esque pvp brackets where coordination doesn’t exist for alot of it, my suggestion is to make it more accessible for mogs in the current season, but don’t double back on old sets, mounts etc which are unavailable now
If you didn’t play that class, didn’t play at all, was too young, had IRL etc. Unlucky/sorry you missed out but its seasonal rewards / expansion features, you get literally months to get them. If you couldn’t earn it when it was current, thats your own undoing sadly
If its really old Idk if I would care honestly, ppl can rp walk to some old raids too and solo boss and get some rare pepe that back then would needed sweaty guild to kill the end boss of internet. Old set sold in old dalaran vendor with some color that can be bought only if were 2400 back then. Some stuff like that I guess I wouldnt care.
Well then if its seasonal should we not remove mythic stuff too after season? raid mounts the tier mythic, also seasonal why is pvp some kind of special set?
I hope we get shuffle gladiator soon. I kept playing on 2300 shuffles today seeing ppl die left and right in 11 seconds from start with every button unused. I will get gladiator on my every character and say lelel
But 2650 from the other season doesn’t equal 2650 this season. In s2 SL people went up to 3800 cr when right now top teams barely break 3 k. They make this change only because there are less and less players so it’s harder every season to get there
