This is my probably final attempt at getting an actual answer on just what the deal is with my Gallagio Loyalty Rewards Club renown, because weeks worth of bug reports have been seemingly ignored, submitting tickets went nowhere, and the only response I got in another forum thread here was straight up not true. So HERE GOES NOTHING:
April 29th: a hotfix was supposed to drop anyone who had gotten past the intended renown cap to 9, and also boost anyone with any progress on the renown track to 9. Instead, it reset me to zero (from around or about 2, I’m honestly not completely sure - had done a couple LFR runs). While waiting for this to be fixed I didn’t bother doing any more LFR because I’m honestly not a raider, just wanted to get to 9 for the pets anyways.
May 23rd: another hotfix is meant to repair what went wrong with the first one. This one brings me to renown 2 for some reason. Fair enough, this is roughly where I was to begin with, but…
What exactly went wrong here? Was I somehow not eligible for the boost? Have I misunderstood something? At this point I would accept being told that I just did something wrong and have to get to 9 on my own, the problem is that I don’t know what is happening and there are NO ANSWERS ANYWHERE.

Got a good twenty years out of this game, but if this is all you can offer in terms of customer service these days I think I’m done. Bye-bye now
