I’m currently using my TV to play wow, and was thinking to get a monitor.
with so much choice out there i was hoping to narrow that done.
I guess a 34” one would be about right size for the space I have.

34”? Then you should go 4K if your GPU can handle it.
High refreshrate should be a given (like 120 at least).
Otherwise, the sweetspot is still 1440P at 27” imho.
I would say 3440x1440 ultrawide for WoW is really good pick, and if someone wants a more standard aspect ratio, then a solid 1440p display rather than 4k (AOC has excellent and cheap miniLED 1440p).
If you’re happy with 34 inch then that’s the way to go, it’s all about the panel type though.
Ask yourself do you do anything more than just gaming and watching movies on said PC? If the answer to that is a yes, then for the moment OLED is sort of out due to price and the rate that burn in can happen within a few years.
Which might mean a IPS panel would be a good middle ground with VA and TN being below that (in order).
Get a monitor with latest version of HDMI and Displayport that you can afford for some future support for better graphic cards down the line.
