it was the first group i ever had with a stranger in wow … a low level gnome we both explored the cave together back in vanilla… i found a green shield in a chest i looted… after that i was hooked.
I think the beginnings are the most intense ones (the first quests in Shadowglen/Dolanaar and the arrival in Darnassus, the first real big city I met)
Then there is the memory of the great run to reach friends with human characters, the first dungeons/raids with guild friends, the meetings with the guild officers in the catacombs of the SW Cathedral with Teamspeak, the openings related to the events (one above all the opening of the Dark Portal) …
maybe I have too many to really classify them as more or less intense
My first trip to org is the most magical moment I’ve had in any game.
From not knowing what org was as a lvl 6 undead warlock with maybe 3 hours played to following that giant floating boat that flew overhead as I was going to brill.
I started in MoP so i would say that the aesthetic of Jade Forest amazed me a lot and since then i enjoy every moment in WoW (sometimes less but still i dont complain that much). After that Suramar is my best experience and i want it back
Northshire Abbey upon first few minutes of playing - I knew then i was in for a heck of a journey. Also what Maidanos said - Suramar is one of, if not the best, designed places in the game - loved the questline there
I remember Northshire Abbey, the NPC’s, some of the first quests. Then running into Stormwind City and being amazed at all the buildings/streets, eventually I found my way to Stormwind Harbour. I love boats, so I thought I would hop on a boat, not a clue where it would take me… it didn’t take me anywhere. I got dropped off in the sea somewhere outside of Stormwind Lighthouse… A long swim back!
