What exactly is the point of abundance event? I can just stand there, afk for 3 minutes every time and get the maximum possible reward (900 currency). What else should I do there, no matter if i just afk the three minutes or if i actually try to collect some abundance…
seems like a boring chore that I need to do every week to get my bis profession tools…

To fill some one else pockets while they fill our pockets with currency that is barely enough to get what we need for professions items, just a pointless event to increase lag on the entire zone because they still do not instance it like they used to off separate server, while only creating more problems then they fix.
Like releasing a mini patch that has 100% chance to cause GPU driver timeout when enabling RT shadows on a Radeon GPU such as a 7900 XTX or 9070XT or any other Radeon GPU.

To get currency for the vendor and convert into another currency for epic crafting tools.

The anglers +3 a bit helped but from the 8 runs you can get 10 with a little lefover

You are way beyond the need of the purple tools the point you are realistically able to craft/order them…
It make 0 sense and for someone who had a stroke and decided, okay I will play WoW and started Midnight today for example, no catchup to have these trice cursed things…

After crafting all of one epic tool I refuse to participate in this pointless, and to be honest, ridiculous activity. There’s no need for these tools anyway.

I still don’t understand what the problem is. You decide what you play, and Blizzard should not dictate to you what you play, otherwise, you are just their puppet with no freedom. I decide in a game what I play, and I don’t have any fear of missing out or feeling bad for having 5 percent worse crafting tools. Like, what is this fetish for absolute perfection by any means? Why do you need 5 percent better crafting tools in order for what? I don’t get it 
, honestly. Just decide to not to play it if you don’t like it and forget about those tiny upgrades that make literally no sense. The world continues, and nothing serious happened. Just decide what you play, it’s so simple.
12.0.7 patch will let you use 8 orbs in one time. (also 6, 4 and 2)

And you can lose them in one go with a DC…
And the dundund hsrads have a weekly limit
…and yes, I lost a shard-run or two because of a disconect so painfully aware how possible it is and the danger of loosing all the 8 in one go
A guildie has been getting the purple tools but I just have no drive for it so far.
Having a whole profession army to do is offputting and it adds nothing to my ability to craft.
This is possibly the best “QoL” change the game has implemented in over 10 years which is actual “QoL improvement” and not “we reduce the difficulty”
This is also serious, and enough of a reason to change the system so that it removes the Shards from our currency only when the event ends and we get the Unalloyed Allowance and not when we start it.
It’s just fluff (meaning pointless) content that some bored dev put time into to justify their employment.

Also, I was wished Unalloyed could allow transfer for alts.
If my alts dont have profession skill. Other alts had professions would nice help get more Unalloyed for buy Fused Vitality faster.

would have been cooler, if they added a vampire survivor-like mode as a mini game instead of this, not a fan of abundance.

I also have absolutely no idea what Abundance is for. I got some currency so I could buy some things from a vendor, but I don’t understand the event at all. I collect balls that spawn from kills and from triggers from other things that I have no clue how is activated, and then I stand inside a circle at an altar and let it absob said balls. I have absolutely no clue why or what it is. Ihave done it a few times, but find it so incredivbly useless and confusing that I usually just skip it.
