That’s the point. Undercity was uncontrollable. At first it was a prison, but they have basically built a city of their own, if that makes sense to you. King Terenas was actually scared of trying to control the black market down there, because he knew, how strong they have become. It’s a really cool story they had, maybe Blizzard will tell more about it at some point
not sure about deathstalkers, i think its not really even the point considering it was varimathras that basically molded deathstalkers they were meant to be vicious unstoppable assassins and they surely did their work good. A lot of the most heinous things forsaken evolved in could be linked into the varimathras too
Yeah, I know, but I was just wondering, if the Deathstalkers of the Forsaken, were also Rogues/Thiefs/etc. when they were alive, or if they built a new identity basically. For example some of the priests of the cult of forgotten shadows used to be normal priests in Lordaeron afaik. But here we enter the territory of headcanon
i don’t think we will ever know truthfully, my quess is kind of both that there were actual thieves and killers put into deathstalker ranks but also people who were molded and chose that path
The Deathstalkers are trained assassins not average rogues. The Horde really doesn’t have their own intelligence service like Gnomeregan and Stormwind do. World building is reserved for humans only it seems.
Well true deathstalkers don’t really do any intelligence agency things its plain assassination usually
The Horde has some of the strongest rogue-organizations in the game.
Shattered hand (Likely strongest) and Deathstalkers (coolest). The SI7 is pretty boring compared to these two.
This idea of undead rogues hiding as corpses in a battlefield is really metal
Cause they work more like an intelligence agency compared to these 2 groups, completly different methods and ideas
Or waiting days underwater untill enemy general decides to go near water and getting pulled into it and drown while stabbed
Shattered Hand is a clan. One that might get revived if the Outland Orcs ever decide to join us.
Just assassins. They aren’t even close to what the SI:7 is supposed to be.
First of all, the shattered hand still operates in Orgrimmar. They are very active, as seen in the orc heritage quest, and they also recruited non-orcs in the Horde. They are supposed to be the Horde-equivalent of SI7, but they feel way more unique.
You sound like you want to be alliance, if you find SI7 this much cooler? To me, SI7 is a very boring fantasy, as it’s so much inspired by real life secret agents. The only cool alliance rogues imo are night elves, Dark Irons, and Pirates. Why do you think that SI7 is cooler?
Death Stalkers are incredibly unique, and they are also a hero-spec now. Now, if Blizzard just stopped this weird cuddle-attitude of their Leaders, it’d be a good time to play a forsaken.
The problem is that they are too clean and painted too heroic, when it comes to these things actuality anything these do isnt really that pure
Turning them into something else was on Thrall alone. In a traditional way they are a brutal clan who cut their hand off in order to join. and I hope we get a quest for additional orc skin versions soon.
It is a simple fact that Blizzard spends more resources on world building for humans alone then the whole Horde ver had combined.
It surely would be cool to see, forsaken using chemical warfare against lightforced armies, and deathstalkers doing their thing against their priority targets.
The most known Rogues are Voss and Garona.
And despite their natural abilities Blood elves don’t have a real spy orgnization either.
I blame Blizzard for not caring about it.
Incorrect. Blizzard is more focused on real world politics and ideology such as DEI = Diversity Equity Inclusion and ESG = Environmental Social Governance. Than to continue to build upon the WORLD of Warcraft itself.
As for new characters of the Horde. They are forged through adversity conflicts and challenges as they rise to meet and overcome said challenges etc…
There is the Son and Daughter of Thrall and Aggralan. Sunwalker Dezco his wife died in childbirth back in Mists of Pandaria so the young calves will be growing strongly.
Perhaps the Horde will have a more prominent role later on in the War Within.
Delusional is you it seems. Blizzard doesn’t care for the Horde. That is why they killed all our leaders who were people and gave awful replacements.
Thrall could lead the Horde once again. Thalyssra reformed the Nighborne people. Baine and Mayla Highmountain stay strong. A Horde without the Tauren is much weaker. Sylvannas will inevitably return to the Forsaken as is Trade Prince Gallywix. Nathanos can easily be replaced. Lorthemar Theron has led the Blood Elves for so long that he is clearly an old Elf. Rokhan is working with Talanji to bring the Zandalari Trolls into the fold and integrate them as part of the Horde. Geyarah she leads the Maghar Orcs even after they had their butts kicked by High Exarch Yrell.
You speak of the Horde losing its leaders. Yet the Horde leadership is still very much alive.
They don’t.
