I know you likely will hit 60 before the campaign is finished, but which one would have the shortest one so that I wouldn’t have many quests left at lvl 60? I want to finish one expansion completely and then just go to Dragon Isles and do that completely.
Also thinking of just checking Cataclysm zones and doing those questlines, but not sure.
Ps. I’m creating a mage, so also considering Legion as I don’t have many transmogs from Legion for cloth. Also never even tried Warlords of Draenor.
The questing in the leveling zones does not finish the “campaign” of their respective expansion.
The entirety of Kalimdor and Eastern Kingdom (save for the Belf and Draenei zones) counts as Cataclysm. Not just the 5 zones you think are Cataclysm. Cataclysm revamped both continents and changed their storylines.
I know but I feel like I have to finish all quests of each zone 
Try legion - just focus on campaign quests only.
I went with Shadowlands because it’s the latest one and I haven’t finished it’s story on any alt yet. I’ll try Legion on another alt
