Which proffesions are good for first character?

Hello, i am new to dragonflight and leveling my first char.(demon hunter) Which proffesions would be most easy for me while leveling? Im thinking of skinning and disenchanting. So that the beasts i kill wont go to waste, and the gears which i gain will have higher value by disenchanting them and selling on AH instead of vendoring them.
What do you think?
I may reset one of these leveling professions at max level and invest into a crafting proffesion if it makes a huge difference in terms of PVP, because PVE doesnt matter for me.

You will level to 60 too fast for any professions to make any significant difference to anything.

In Dragonflight proper, from 60 to 70, beginner Enchanting and especially Disenchanting is a total bust. Greens or Blues will vendor for 40-60 gold a piece, and disenchant into maybe 2 Chromatic Dust, that will sell for maybe 2 gold each:

I’d take Herbalism, which is the solidest goldmaker, and whichever of Mining and Skinning you prefer.

alright thanks a lot, herbalism seems like a good option.

Can’t go wrong with herb/ mining. I have it on all my chars and easily make 20-40k a day.

May i ask how do you make that much money? I have mining/skinning and after i’ve hit cap i’ve tried to sell everything i’ve accumulated (couple hundred of ore/leather) and it was selling just a couple of gold a piece, so about 1-2k in total. Thanks!

20-40k a day sounds a lot to me, too, but I can imagine it.

My Druid is my herb/mine machine, and she is still 60, but my Mage is a herbalist, and 5-10K an hour from that alone is definitely within reach. You do want some skills and talents for that, though.

I favour the Azure Span for herbing, though I’ve had luck in other zones as well. You want to first choose the talent tree that gets you to herb without dismounting, I went approximately with what this guide calls the Botany build:

Mining and Herbalism is all good if you want to farm some gold on the go without doing much else. I am mining and it can earn you a nice amount of gold if you put some time in to it, I am also a blacksmither so I usually use what ore I gather to craft things when they go up in price at ah.

does mining herbing still provides exp?

Yup.

I was curious, because I hadn’t bothered to note it before.

On a Level 61:

A regular kill ten bears type quest gives 9200 XP
Killing a regular mob gives 852 XP
Mining a node gives 2300 XP
Herbing a node gives 2300 XP

Now, those ratios aren’t going to hold throughout all expansions - the devs have an everything-distortion field cranked up to full in old expansions - but it’s a nice bonus in Dragonflight 60-70.

HOWEVER, on your first character, you will still have to complete the main storyline; that is, the campaign shielded-quests, all the way through the zones. These alone don’t give quite enough XP to reach 70, but they’re pretty close. So some casual skilling up of profs kills two birds with one stone, but don’t get any ideas of levelling by gathering alone.

thanks a lot for bothering now
it is still absurd for me the idea of getting more exp by gathering than killing a mob.
i consider doing both campaign quests and gathering
