To be honest, I kind of liked this new playstyle for one patch—spamming Healing Wave and Riptide—but I’m happy it’s gone. Now I can hopefully go back to actually using my whole toolkit… or whatever is left of it in Midnight.
Did you like this playstyle or do you prefer other Resto Shaman versions?
I mean, the playstyle was already dead, since the engine that helped it moving was gone (Ancestor every 3rd healing surge).
Having all ancestors tied to your 20-30 secs cds made it so that the whispering wave build was not gonna work the same with the high apm playstyle. Having said that, I prefer tidal waves rather than whispering waves, just so that I have a reason to press chain heal (which whispering wave was in practice replacing).
